I haven't watched this anime in a while, but I remember I watched it in the dead of winter when there was snow all around my surrounding area. Something about watching the second half of this anime while my own environment looked similar made it feel so special and safe, yet so lonely and barren. My question is pretty much how did you feel throughout the show? Did your emotions at the beginning change at the end? How strong of an impact did this series leave on you?

To be very honest I don't like this show, feel like it was wasted potential. This show has the most complex love polygon I've seen in anime and for what? There was absolutely no need for all the unnecessary teenage drama, it took away the focus of the world building. The mc is also quite annoying from beginning to end but sure that's already a popular take.
#Miuna deserved better

I liked it quite a bit. The coming of age mentality combined with a rapidly changing world was very poignant, especially around the end of the first cour when everyone's falling asleep. The shock of returning to a familiar yet changed world was a cool thing to explore. I actually thought the character building was pretty good. Even though the love polygon might have been a little excessive, I felt like all the characters grew throughout the series, and it set a decent example of teens experiencing angst but growing from it. I agree with loneliness being a strong feeling I had throughout a large part of the show.

it was watchable, ask for emotions I didn't really feel any form of actual sadness or anger or anything like that. I did feel for some of the characters, but.... By the end, The biggest emotion I was feeling was boredom, it was kind of dragging throughout. I actually wouldn't really recommend the show to a newcomer

I personally really liked this anime since I could relate with some of the characters. It has been a hot minute though and I don't remember much. ik I was feeling the motions at the end though.

I remember the plot and setting to be VERY interesting. Just that the main couple to be the most annoying ass kids ever, and I kinda wished the main girl died. The side characters were soooo good though.

Well this is my favourite anime so my emotions about it are immense. I loved almost everything about this show except I felt the ending of Hikari and Monaka was pretty lacklustre. However, I loved almost every character and adored plot. Although I didn’t enjoy part 2 at the start it grew on me. So yeah I really this show.

Yeah I agree with you on the side characters bit! I remember when I finished the series I was left wishing they would have expanded on the relationship between Kaname and Sayu

I really liked the vibe of this anime, but the whole love triangle really threw me off. It was super confusing, but overall I think it’s a pretty good anime.

I watched this anime a while ago and it was the best decision I made. It was very cute and at some parts, I was on the edge of my seat. Very cute artstyle and I felt the feels many times. 10/10 anime

I enjoyed the second half, since it had something captivating about it, the anime "grew up" in a way (and not just timeskip).

But I did not enjoy the first half at all; it was just child drama.

Just finished rewatching it, focusing in Miuna's POV as the MC. The first half made much more sense with this mindset.

The ending is found wanting. It needs a proper payoff in the form of romantic fluff. For reference, Fruits Basket (2019) did the payoff right. However, the rest of the second half, especially its story progression, is the stuff of legends. Very few arcs tugged at the emotions like it.
