Damm watching those results made me think, I started watching it on TV since it was licenced in my country and since I've kept up with all the episodes, every Sunday... and I've actually rewatched multiple times, from beginning to end (avoiding filler) depending on the year and the amount of episodes available that year, and I honestly can't believe that people think it's too much when I'm here crying, praying to God, wishing upon a star, an asteroid, whatever so that we can finally get a proper decent ending. I'm so hyped up every year and I've been wishing this since I was 8 so it's a big commitment lol

I started towards the end of 2021 but only because my boyfriend is a fan of One piece and has been following it since the beginning told me to watch it together. I've had some breaks in the middle because of a few things, but I'm at episode 734 for now

I started watching it in April of this year, but the reason I didn’t start it earlier was because of how many episodes it is. I have a few friends that have watched it, and for 4-5 months they did nothing except watch one piece. Every time they couldn’t hang out it was bc they were watching one piece. Also, I wouldn’t be able to watch all the currently coming out stuff that all my friends were talking abt. So to prevent myself from over devoting myself, or burning out on it, I decided to watch one episode of one piece per a day until I finish all the other shows I want to watch. Today was episode 74, and counting…

I started in 2015 after listening to the openings, listening to English covers of said openings and watching a few eps on toonami, At the time I didn’t know I was watching eps from water 7 then toonami announced it wasn’t going to keep airing one piece on the anymore so I just went to kissanime and then watched all the way to thriller bark, waited for the dub to come out with new eps, it did, watched all of sabody archipelago + impel down and marineford, started the sub, watched the first few eps of the post time skip, skipped fishman island, punk hazard, and the beginning and middle of dressrosa to watch the most recent episode when Luffy and law fought doflamingo and gear fourth was introduced and have been watching the sub since then, dub came back years later rewatched the arcs I skipped, and are currently up to date with English sub and dub, started the manga from wano and up to date with the manga and yeah that’s pretty much sums up my experience with the straw hats, can’t wait for Film: RED!!!!!

I started in 2017 and caught up in 2021. I've stayed caught up since then. So I took my time watching it and I would say that despite it's slow pace there are some arcs that have fantastic plot, so it's worth it for those.
Maybe the manga is better, I haven't read it so I can't say.

Started watching it around 2007 with the Spanish dub. Yep, the infamous 4kids one. The dub just kinda stopped pretty early on, so I had to move to the sub.
I'm in episode 1000 of the anime, and fully caught up with the manga (ch. 1053).

I started ONE PIECE on 24 Jan 2022 then I dropped it after finishing the EAST BLUE SAGA on 4 february due to my exams which were in March.

Then I started watching( from alasbasta saga) after my exam were over, in 25 march.

And now I am currently in ep585 (punk hazard arc)
I dropped it like 2 weeks ago again due to my exams.
I will start again after august 11.

Binge watched to catch up around 2010? idk i was in middle school. It's the only anime i consistently kept up with even during my years-long anime hiatus! Started over with a friend last year to get him into it and we have slowly watched up to around 600s so far and he is loving it just as much and I'm so amazed to revisit how intricate the plot is. I am paused on episode 1000 to hoard up some episodes right now even tho it is getting soooo good (always is!) and taking a lot of willpower to keep away from lol.

I read a lot more manga than I watch anime but for some reason always kept away from OP bc as stupid as it sounds I didnt want to spoil myself. Watching OP has always been that one special anime for me, so much so that I didnt even want to read ahead! (I knew that I wouldn't have the control to not binge-read LMAO) but it's too good to not read eventually so I'm currently on ch 263. Reading it while I stockpile some episodes!
