I've been thinking about watching One Piece eventually but the number of episodes is kind of off-putting to say the least? With that being said, what year did you start watching the anime in? Was it the original year (1999) it aired? What episode are you on or are you all caught up now? Do tell because it'll be interesting to see the times everyone started to watch the series in, you know?

Started in April 2022 and I just got caught up.

If the number of episodes is daunting, I highly recommend a website called One Pace. It’s a fan edit (done professionally) of the show that reduces episode padding, improving pacing and making the show more faithful to the manga. I’m not the kinda guy who can watch 10 episodes every day to catch up, so One Pace really helped.

And I definitely recommend Strong World!
it's not the best of the movies, but it's a good time, it's after Thriller Bark, but you have to watch Episode 0 of it first

Started in January this year. Didn’t watch consistently until about a month ago. I just finished the Water 7 arc and starting the Enies Lobby arc on episode 264
One Piece has been pretty good since episode 1 but it started getting really good during the Alabasta arc
