The title may be bit misleading, all I want to ask is that "Will 2nd year have same no. of volume as 1st year." the first year has 14 volume and 2nd year have released 7 volume (including 4.5 volume), so 50% complete. Wouldn't the 2nd and 3rd year feel repetitive if all the exams (corresponding to the volume like volume 3: island, 4:cruise 6:exam etc.) are same except for rules. (I am currently on volume 10 of 1st year, so I am not sure if this is the case.) Is this series gonna take another 6 year or 7 year to complete.

Sorry, I don't know about that because who knows what the intention of the author is

This is somewhat spoiler but it's not that big.All the events in the second year are not the same as first year and even the rules are different.

It's difficult to say because Kinugasa doesn't know how to finish his series based on my reading experience with his VN. Although it really depends on how he will finish CoTE since it's a LN not a VN

I'm at the end of 2nd year vol. 6 and I can say that, it feels like the author can leave 3rd year as a single volume: the graduation and epilogue.

But yeah as the others said, who knows what the authors want. The struggle can drags on, and maybe put the MC into a

How the hell could Y3 be single volume. That wouldn't make any sense, especially with how the story is going. Kinu has now also confirmed the series is half way done and predicted to finish in 2029.

I said "the author *can*".

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

I don't read the あとがき nor his tweets (if he has Twitter).

((Actually, I'm not even sure if he can, you know, contracts and stuffs, if any.))
