Could you give some reasons to watch it ?

It looks pretty good but the mc looks like he will be annoying but I might be totally in wrong here so ?

definitely yes, the visual is pretty nice, the plot is very interesting, mc in my opinion isn't annoying, but there are also other interesting characters (like Dazai and his past), so I recommend this.

This is one of my favorite animes. I think Atsushi is a pretty good mc. He knows and recognizes his failures and works through them. The side characters are also really well written. Villains have actual reasons to be villains, and you can see good dynamic characterization among not only them but other characters as well.

Dazai is an amazing character. The show is very fun to watch. It has pretty good action scenes as well and then will come out of the blue with amazing storytelling

it’s fun!! only about 40 episodes and every episode is exciting, the characters are all easy to like and the storyline itself is amazing

s1 is okay but from s2 real shit will begin so you should watch it and the main character cast is also great.

The main character (Atsushi) can be a little annoying at time but so is every main protagonist. All the other characters are so loveable, especially Dazai, and there’s always something happening so you’ll never get bored! Also the Dead Apple film is amazing once you get to it!

I would definitely say it’s worth the watch- though in my opinion the first season is not very good but I loved every season afterwards. So I think it’s worth wading through the first season to get to the good stuff. Dazai is extremely compelling, I really like a lot of the antagonists, and the other characters grow on you with time.

Everyone watches it mostly for Dazai (and I LOVE him don’t get me wrong) but Atsushi, mc, isn’t as annoying as he seems. He has a really interesting backstory and makes him interesting to learn what goes on in his head and the reason behind it all. And dazai and atsushi are really different but that’s what makes them really good together as partners/friends. They can really learn from each other

nah this mess is so boring I literally only made it to 6 episodes and dropped it . and the opening could have been better . all respects to the actual dazai though

It’s fine. If you like supernatural shows then you’ll probably at least enjoy it. It’s not amazing or anything but definitely worth a watch.

It's got a nice plot, good world building, and some amazing character developments....
The side characters aren't just mere side characters n play a major role...
It also has a fine number of mind games, action scenes, emotions n all...
For me, the backstories were the best part of it...

AND, If nothing else, watch it for Dazai... I'm sure he'll be one of your favourites even before you finish watching it!

the way it doesnt only focus on the mc and shows every great and bad aspect abt all the characters and how all their personalities r extremely well written like it doesnt feel like their there just to support the mc. and the backstories r amazing too. def recommend!

It‘s an great anime with interesting plots. The whole story is very unique just like the characters and their design which I love. Though it reminds me a litte of JJK…so if you liked it you will love BSD for sure^^

Personally I love the Mc!! He can be kinda annoying at first, but as finds himself throughout the show he becomes an amazing protagonist to follow!

The show is fast paced and super fun to keep up with!! I love how characters react (like Atsushi and Lucy, Ranpo and Poe, Chuuya and Dazai) it’s all so fun to watch unfold. I totally recommend it

Strangely. It was only the OP & ED that kept me watching the show. I came back every week just to listen to them. I got pretty bored with the show and the only character I could like to some extent was Kunikida, but the rest of the cast wasn't to my taste at all.

Yes, watch it for Fyodor! The MC is indeed annoying, but there are a lot of interesting characters and the story is amazing.
