1. Why did Inoue hiatus the series? What did he decide to do later on?

2. When is the series returning? Any fresh news?

Hi there!

1. inoue stopped drawing vagabond mainly because he was tired, both physically and mentally. he then focused on his personal life. not much info are public tbh.

2. maybe he'll back. just like vagabond, he also stopped drawing 'real'. but just a few months ago he picked that up and is still continuing it.

so just maybe, maybe it's possible after he finishes that, he'll pick up vagabond.

1. Inoue went ghost to focus on his personal stuff a while back. Recently he's been doing the Slam Dunk movie and picked up 'Real' again. The guy loves basketball.

2. Who knows. Though this is an incredible manga, the story has been done. If you're interested in the story check out the book 'Musashi' by Eiji Yoshikawa or the film series 'Samurai Trilogy' with Toshiro Minfune, they're both great.
