Is this show worth watching?

From what I have heard and seen, the fanbase is extremely toxic. But that is just what I have seen first hand.

Is this show actually worth watching because I have heard both good and bad things about it.

Yes, the fandom is toxic, but most fandoms are.

I like the anime, but I know it’s not for everyone. If you like simple Shonen you might like it.

Yeah but season 5 kinda sucks ass. Season 1-4 is amazing tho and the manga is supposed to be better than the anime too. Also you shouldn't base a show off its fandom that's kinda unfair

It’s decent but overall pretty simplistic. It’s good enough to watch, there are many worse shows and it’s above average overall.

Worth watching I suppose, but be aware that the pacing is very off balance with some parts that feel like filler. Also very standard for a shounen. As long as you know what you are getting into, I’d say it is mostly entertaining to watch

PS: Yeah also the fandom is utterly awful. Just don’t touch anything related to the shipping

Definitely I was very hesitant and when I finally watched it I loved it and it’s now one of my favorite animes, from the interesting and fun characters, the villain is very good imo and the story is kinda simple but still enjoyable. So I think you should watch the first season and give it a shot if you don’t like it then stop watching

yeah, but it gets worse as it goes along. don't expect anything revolutionary. It's been pretty bad or mediocre since season 3

Most shonen fandoms are toxic, but you should never let a show's fans affect your opinion of it.

It's a solid show, but the manga's better once you get towards the later seasons. I watched up through season four and then jumped to the manga.

If you like superheroes then watch this show its perfect for you. The fanbase of literally every anime is toxic so don’t think about it when watching the show. The first 3 seasons of this show is one of the greatest starts in shonen to me so its worth a try just for that

Yes, it's worth watching. It's not a deep show if that's what you're into, it's kind of what you would expect from the name. But if you like battle shonen, it's one of the better ones to come out in it's decade. I've been a fan since the anime came out and I just avoid the toxic fans like I would with any other anime, don't let them ruin it for you.

I liked it up to the 4th season, personally. the fan base is kinda shit, but there isn't much to do about that. I recommend watching atleast seasons 1-3, and if you like it, watch 4, and then read the manga cause season 5 is a bad adaptation

don't let the fanbase reputation stop you.

now, the first season is good, slow but good. season 2 is awesome, season 3 is ok, season 4 is good too, but season 5 is trash. I love BNHA, but they ruined the adaptation with the pacing, the unnecessary flashbacks and cheesy dialogues.

Watch it until season 4 and then read the manga.

I have seen all 5 seasons of mha just for the sake of watching I'd say if u have time to burn watch it it's just basic shonen pridictable and like its just shonen nothing else whole series is 6/10 for me it didn't did anything to stand out for me, but if u like clasic shonen then u may enjoy this.
Its mid for me I can see why ppl enjoy it as well cause it's just classic shonen with little to no new implications.

I don’t find it that much enjoyable, in my opinion only the first season was good. Overall, the quality of the anime just keeps getting worse and worse. So I don’t think it’s worth it to watch MHA.

I'd say it's worth the watch. It's pretty straight forward story wise, the characters are likeable and charming, and world is pretty cool even though it's just Japan with superpower humans. Give the first season a try and if you like it, I'd say it's worth watching the other seasons as well.

Eh. I would say yes and if you do, stay away from the fanbase and maybe start reading the manga after season 4 because season 5 had horrible pacing and really soured my taste of the anime.

BNHA is quite decent...like a 7or8/10 but yeah if you don't dive into the fandom and just want to have some fun and adrenaline rush, I'd suggest you to watch BNHA

As of right now i only saw the first 2 seasons.
but it'd say it's still worth watching.

I watched 1st and 2nd season and they were mid. I started watching 3rd and I couldn't watch it anymore after 8 eps. It was so pathetic I just couldn't.

season 1 = mid
season 2 = great
season 3 = also great
season 4 = fabulous first half but pathetic second half
season 5 = again mid

from what I have heard starting from next season it is gonna be really amazing till the point it ends
