Should I read op manga after watching the anime?

I am caught up to recent op episode and I absolutely love it I was hesitant at first but when I binge it I was loving it. As many people tell that there is pacing problem in op but when I was binging it it wasn't that noticeable to me but now waiting for weekly episode pacing is noticeable and it is ruining my experience of op like they aren't even adopting 1 chapters per episode. So should I read the manga? Will it ruin my experience of op anime?

well the manga chapters are indeed very detailed and the reason for slow pacing is that no one wants a filler in between the Wano Arc . I was also hesitant to read the manga at first but believe me , it is worth it . I believe u should start from manga chapter 995 or so .

I read manga because I didn't want anyone to know op ending before me, bounty posters and others
And when I am reading manga everytime it comes i love it
You should read manga
Manga is as good as anime for me
For others even more

Well i caught up to one piece like 6 years ago, and then I've been watching in breaks so I don't have to wait every week to watch one episode. And just a few months ago I decided to read everything, and I absolutely loved it, there were even details that I didn't quite remember so it was a great decision tbh and I highly recommend since it's one of the best manga I've read

I agree with the thread OP. It did not felt slow when I binge +900 episodes. And now that I'm caught up and had to wait a week for 1 new episode, it definitely felt slower.

I would read if I have time but I think I would be a bit more patience for new episode while picking up new anime.

I prefer the manga, I eventually switched from the anime because the pacing was too slow for me and I got tired of the same sound effects throughout the whole show that were made in 1997…

But both are great!! I LOVE One Piece and couldn’t enjoy the manga as much if I wasn’t reading the lines in the character’s voices :)

It will definitely lessen the experience as you will know whats going to happen. Manga is really good, but keep it mind that manga has breaks more frequently than anime. I used to read the manga, but then I dropped it since the anime is doing a much better job with the fights (plus, I like the colors, VA, animation, music, etc..). It's your call at the end of the day.

I honestly started reading the manga bcz I was missing one piece after I caught up on the day episode 1000 was released bcz I wanted to binge some episodes with someone. So rn even if I'm currently caught up with this week's episode I'm reading from the beginning just to see stuff thatbi didn't see get animated for my pleasure cuz I wanna interest myself. But I do have a question; what chapter shows the panels or pages or whatever u wanna call it of ep 1007? This is just going to be an option for me if i get bored from reading from the beginning so thx
