Shouldn't Digimon Chronicle be put in Related Manga?

Despite taking many liberties, this TV special is a reinterpretation of the events of Digimon Chronicle, an alternate version.

I've never understood why every standalone Digimon anime has Adventure in Related Anime, since all of those series were conceptualized outside of Digimon Adventure.
With Digimon Next they also put Adventure as Parent Story and V-Tamer as prequel, but those two products have absolutely nothing to do with Digimon Next.
Ironically, Xros Wars has enough elements to be considered a kind of sequel to V-Tamer.
