I want to watch this anime in fact i watched the 1 epi and think its appealing but my friend told me that it mainly deals with economics . So what i really want to ask is that does it get boring in future because i don't really like dropping anime.
And please keep it spoiler free ❤️

I guess it depends on your definition of boring. Yes one of the main themes of the series is economics as Lawrence is a merchant, but I would say it deals more so with his and Holo's relationship, and how his financial pursuits affect that. There's also some cool world building here and there with some of the lore spread out in the series.

There aren't much of action, so it may ne boring to battle shounen fans.

Well, since 1 of the main characters is a merchant, it only makes sense the show explains economic principles as they're put to use. But the show isn't about economics, it's more about their journey and their interactions.

I'd say the economics is similar to how it's used in "rising of the shield hero" but spice and wolf contains alot less action since its a merchants view in a fantasy world
