(If i remember correctly , they are chapters that were published in another magazine before Berserk moved to Young Animal) 364 "Main Chapters" + 16 "0" = 380. So there is actually 380 Chapters for this entry. (Should be 381 because of the Prototype in my opinion.) |

| Huh... that's really confusing. It's 364 everywhere and it always been this order of counting. So these 16 chapters are some of initial volumes? 1-4 perhaps... or which ones? And why moving to another magazine is a good reason for counting from no.1 once again during the story...? XD Confusing AF. |

Even most of those pirate site have the "0" Chapters , they are just labelled differently. (0A , 0B / 0.1 , 0.2...) And it always has been "0" Chapters > "Main" Chapters (The "0" Chapters where there before the "Main") it's just that marking Chapter 100 (Of "Main") is easier than Chapter 100 + 16 , so most people doesn't talk about/mark them. The 16 "0" Chapters are indeed part of the early Volumes. (1-4 and first quarter of 5) For the chapters count , i believe that it's pretty common to change the numerotation of the chapters while changing publisher (Which is not really common) since they want to show that it's their version. (I have no such exemple , but i'm sure it already happened for something else before.) |

| I could be wrong because I'm still reading the manga, but isn't it supposed to be 379 chapters? I say it because chapter 83 (at least according to the site I read at) is the "Shinen no Kami" one, which has a seperate entry in MAL. Or does the count include the prototype chapter? If so, I think it makes more sense to have it on a seperate entry as well. |

I forgot that even if Shinen no Kami 2 has been removed , it's still labelled as Chapter 83 , so there is 363 "Main" Chapters. Prototype is included in the chapter count because it's included in Volume 14. (See Database Guidelines Manga II.1) |

Well... here - all the MAL forum discussions related to particular chapters since years,the same on the biggest Berserk forum: SkullKnight and facebook fanpages. And - omg yesss~ - also in pirate sites. Anyway there's no whole general numeration of all possible chapters in my Polish volumes version (the numeration is individual/separated for every arc). That's why the number 380 with 16 "zeros" included are confusing (this whole topic is the proof I guess). Nvm, thanks for the clarification |
