Takt Op Destiny synopsis reminds me of this game

Takt Op Destiny is an anime made by the collaboration between Madhouse and Mappa. After reading the synopsis, it reminds me of No Straight Roads, NSR for short. In Takt Op Destiny, which I'm going to refer it as TOD, is about a guy and a girl fighting against an evil forces using the power of music. Yes, music. It's also almost similar to NSR but the difference is NSR is about rebellion against the government meanwhile TOD is about rebellion against the colonization. I'm not saying TOD is NSR rip off but the synopsis is kind of similar to me. What do you guys think?
