Both have the same rating of 8.58 now.

I completely understand the hate on 2nd season but S1 was almost perfect IMO. It did everything so better compared to Demon Slayer be it the story, character, music except only animation.

What's your opinion on this?

Agreed, Escape arc is one of the best shonen arc I've ever seen, it's the Peak of TPN and slaps every arc of KNY

Please watch Sword Art Online Progressive, it's the peak of SAO.

It's probably since the series didn't age well for me but I prefer the first season of demon slayer. Though this wasn't bad at all

Definitely agree. While I really enjoy both series, S1 of TPN is obviously better.

They adapted intro arc n jainbreak arc perfectly, and demon slayer is known only for animation not for its unique story like tpn.

Looking back now 1st season was the only good thing happened to TPN,and I do like it a bit more than the 1st season of Demon slayer

One is a battle Shōnen, the other one isn't. Dark fantasy is just a typical theme in Shōnen as well. Plus, content wise, they're very different.
