  I know it's not a big deal... But now I know now when this anime took place. Currently rewatching Non Non Biyori Repeat episode 11 before going non-stop. And this flew on my mind the first time I've watched the series. So, upon rewatching this, it appears that Non Non Biyori and Repeat took place in 2004 based on the Chinese Zodiac Hikage mentioned (Year of the Monkey; 2004). Back then, flip phones, digital cameras were a thing back then. Which is why we don't see anyone using android phones in this anime (nor even on the manga as well since it was published on 2009). And that's some completely random yet useless fact... You may move on now. |
