I have watched countless isekai's Popular and unpopular ones
But what stands about this anime than others is that it didn't take the main isekai route of "getting insanely overpowered and for somehow every single girl the MC meets falls in love with him" Subaru after getting transported didn't get any power yeah return by death is sure as hell convenient but it's more of a curse than a power, Rem falls for Subaru but unlike any other mc that doesn't do anything and still manages to get 7 harems, Subaru earned that he worked hard and died multiple times for her view of him, the other thing is the pacing somehow even though Re zero is a slow pacing anime I managed to enjoy it more than other isekai's with fast pacing it feels like every episode builds the next, 3rd is the amazing Character development Subaru's and Emilia's Character development was just amazing to watch as it's unfold the plot twists and cliffhangers are great


Now i will also point out some of the bad aspects of the show as no show is perfect after all

I think this is the main issue although it's also a great part of the anime for me this thing also causes some issues for the fans, it's the fact that it's too damn Realistic, you might think how's that a issue if the show is realistic more people can relate to it and it makes the show better, yeah but the thing is re zero is too realistic this show literally speaks " Hey man if isekai is real you're probably never ever going to get any abilities or broken bullshit that will let you have a plot armor so thick the show losses it's meaning, instead you're probably screwed because you have no money or anything in you, you can't speak the language and you don't know shit about that world's culture and it's law so you're going to die really quickly if you don't act recklessly" and because the MC doesn't have any powers he have to grind his way making it incredibly slow pace and outright boring for others who don't have the patience. These my takes but remember the light novel isn't even finished so as it gets adapted my opinion might change from time to time and sorry if my english isn't that great because English is not my mother tongue so yeah that's all.

well arc 5 and arc 6 aren't boring at all it's the arc 4 because it's way to detailed and long sometimes it gets boring for some people .
