| Okay, so my post below was about the 1986 wizard of Oz anime which I watched instead and posted about until I realized this was something else. I'll be watching this one shortly and will make an updated edit soon once I'm done, so just keep in mind if you read the next part before I change it and delete this part of the post too. Below refers to the wonderful wizard of Oz 1986. The live action movie from the 30s is a real classic and one most of us probably watched at some point in our life. I know I sure did. Then I stumbled upon this animated series when looking up some anime from the 90s and this even has an English dub and is on crunchyroll with dubs and subs. So if you ever want to watch what looks like an expansion to the classic story where Dorothy and her new friends going on a little adventure in Oz, this wholesome looking series looks like a good watch, especially if you want to watch with your kids or would like your kids to enjoy this classic. Although I'm sure there's more modern versions of the Wizard of Oz, but the 90s has its own charm too or maybe it's just my nostalgia because I'm a 90s kid. |
