Man, I miss reading Vagabond. It has always been my favourite manga, till date.

It’s never coming back. However takehiko did drop an epilogue which rounds the manga off.

Nope, not confirmed by the author. However it’s highly unlikely.

Inoue said before the big hiatus in 2010 that he would only draw Vagabond from then one if he is 10000% sure about the story and art. Seems like after the 1 chapter in 2015 he just isn't anymore. I think he is creatively stuck, he didn't draw any kind of manga between 2015-2019/20. Only in 2019/20 he returned to the manga world with REAL which also was on a hiatus and he is continuing it. I think last chapter was February or March this year. So the only chance for Vagabond to comeback is if he finishes REAL soon and is creatively ready for Vagabond....But the chances are to big....But official nothing has been cancelled, but I suspect that in the next 2 years something will happen, somesort of announcement from the publisher or Inoue himself about it either getting cancelled or what ever they plan to move forward.
Thank god I am at Chapter 215 and have over 100 chapters to read, but damn at some point I will arrive to the "end" ;_;

Not anytime soon, the good news is the progress of the story is around 80-90%. The only arc left if i'm not mistaken is Miyamoto vs Kojiro (I don't know the official name of this arc is). But according to the history, yes Miyamoto will face Kojiro anytime soon. But we still don't know when it will happens in the future.

highly unlikely, heard from someone that it was a “permanent hiatus” and we’re supposed to imagine the rest of the story, ofc this wasn’t confirmed by the creator but at this point i’m not doubting it lol

I read somewhere that Takehiko is struggling to find inspiration or motivation to finish the story as he can't come up with any new chapters or draw new art for them, probably suffering from artist's block or something. Hopefully he'll come up with something if he decides to finish Real first.
