| The most emotional ending in Anime. That sounds like an overstatement. Don’t get me wrong. I am not saying is a bad show. If anything, depends on context. Remember when it aired. Compared to a lot of different shows that were more light hearted that were broadcasted back in the day, this one stands out because it goes beyond the norm. Then be mindful of what the story conveys. Is not a SoL wholesome romance in any way or form. Quite the opposite. It’s very dramatic. It’s very heavy in drama and shock factor and has complicated relationships. If anything, feels more realistic (Albeit sometimes a little exaggerated representation) of an adult relationship. Does it give a satisfying ending? It’s an emotional ending yes. The best ending? Subjective and it’s open for interpretation and that’s the whole point because the show never gives a clear answer of what it should be the right thing to do. That’s the experience and it’s worth watching. But I think it’s better to play the game instead since the Anime just adapts 1 route while the Visual Novel is over 50+ hours long so it’s safe to assume they did not adapt the whole story. Should you watch it? If you have the time and willing to watch it you should. |
