| So it looks like the manga was inspired by a very old song which was in turn inspired by a double suicide, huh. It's a shame we never got a continuation, that was a nice reflection on the "freak show" theme. A mix of abuse by the "higher-ups" of the troupe and mutual aid between the "regular" members. Though Hakudami isn't really portrayed as an antagonist either. |
