Encore 10 is not the last volume of Encore though. The author did say it feels like it is coming to an end, but he wanted it to run a little longer. Which is good because we really want to see how Shido continues to protect his beloved queens in the group’s daily life.
Also, despite feeling like Shido is closer to certain girls, I think the ending will be him staying with all of them because only him can manage their daily mishaps. Furthermore, only him who the spirits loved, and only by his side where the spirits feel being loved. This is one of those anime where I want to have a harem ending with one girl holds the highest position but every girls got to stay with the protagonist forever. I could see Ratatoskr doing their job to make path for Shido to legalize his harem to the normal world for two reasons: 1. It makes sense to keep them in one place (manageable, secured) and 2. It is what every one wants (Shidou promised to love and protect everyone, the girls could feel safe staying close to Shidou, with their peers, and feel in love with Shidou).
