This video explains why: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cd5mlS2DPrg

From what I saw of Bennett the Sage's review, this anime looked like total shit to me, so nothing of value really would have been lost and the trailer itself wasn't all that great.

Watched the video. That's actually sad. Good or not, it's still lost and part of the anime heritage.

At least the trailer can still be found on YouTube.

I mean, hopefully someday it could be found, I mean, the OVA called Hana no Asuka-gumi! 2: Lonely Cats Battle Royale (also done by Toei Animation) was also thought to possibly be lost to time, but this happened: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KS5YhZASL4

And now the full OVA has been found and put on Youtube and Archive.org, so hopefully a similar thing can happen with this one...

The difference here is that this is a film that was never released on video and only shown in theaters. Though looking at the comments on here the reason given in the now privated video sounds flawed, if not made up. Even if it was lost by Toei themselves why wouldn't there be any of the film reels that were distributed to the theaters themselves still in existence?

Usually when people piss and moan like this and reference dumb e-celebs from Channel Awful, it's generally a sign that what said e-celeb is criticizing might actually be good.

Video became private. Can anyone tell or have a backup of the video or just have an explanation on why this movie would never be found as explained from the now private video?
It’s time to ditch the text file.
