Should I watch Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu first or Full Metal Panic?
| So I recently decided I wanted to watch all of kyoani's anime since I typically have a large enjoyment for their popular work. I'm already at the second one (Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu). I don't know whether or not I should watch Full Metal Panic? first then Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu or not. |
| by release it's fomoffu then second raid. while fumoffo adds little story wise it may be weird going from second raid to fomoffu due to the events in second raid. also another studio did the first season of fmp, so that may be a good jumping off point |

| In terms of release order, FMP comes before FMP Fumoffu. There's also a few bits of FMP Fumoffu that refer to events that happen in the last arc of the first season (FMP), during a moment when one of the characters says, "Oh, I remember that guy!" That said, there's really not a whole lot that requires you to view FMP before FMP Fumoffu, and Fumoffu is a better show, so if you want to watch Fumoffu without ever having seen the first season of FMP no one will blame you. |
