Idk I'm new to this but this has been something on my mind for MONTHS now

What exactly does the B in 'B-PROJECT' stand for?

At first I thought it stood for Boys just because it seemed like the most logical thing (I mean, fictional idol group of 14 dudes' cmon).. but I thought that just seemed too easy.

Recently I found a tumble post that talked about what it could mean,, and it mentioned something about Buddhism. And it went on and on relating the characters last name with some god's and whatnot.

I was like???

That's the LAST thing I could've ever thought about.

Buddhism Project.

Idk what do y'all think.

Would that perfectly translate to "Boys" meaning, Boys-Project...

The thing that needs to be address is what the "project" is..

It's the name of an idol group and often those don't have any meaning to them. What does Blink 182 mean?
