Is Ben-To ecchi?
| Currently, Ben-To's genre on MAL is listed as "Action, Comedy, Martial Arts." The show fits into all of those categories, but it also has ecchi elements (those of you who have finished it probably know the one scene in particular that stands out in this regard). When I first watched the series, I was caught slightly off guard by the ecchi and while it didn't bother me, I'm sure others would be put off by it. It's hardly in the ballpark of something like High School DxD, which is indisputably ecchi, possibly even softcore hentai. But I consider Ben-To pretty similar to Keijo both thematically and in terms of ecchi content, and Keijo is listed as ecchi. I would like to see others' thoughts on this matter. |
