Are there any WW1 Manga?

Well, since this war was a brutal clusterfuck, filled with thousands of beautiful stories, are there any manga featuring it?
Maybe an author got interested enough in the last 102 years to create one...

I don't really know of any. Japan wasn't all that involved in WW1, so they don't really write much about it. There's not as many movies made about that war in the west, so there is less exposure from that route as well. There is a manga that has some scenes from the Russo-Japanese War, which was about 10 years previous: Golden Kamui.

I did find one manga that has not been translated on mangaupdates. But you're probably about as likely to find manga about the Crimean War.

+1 Golden Kamui, as it is the closest thing I've seen, the MC participated in the Russo-Japanese war that started 10 years before WW1 started.

WWI was actually very interesting, fought literally across the world and arguably similar to the area of WWII. I would recommend watching the youtube channel The Great War for more info. The idea that WWI was all about trenches is really only talking about the western front (French/British vs Germany) and doesn't account for the wide and more mobile combat of the Eastern front (Russia vs Germany/Austria-Hungary). But yeah, that channel does a week by week analysis about it so again, I would highly recommend.
