Hi, today I decided to put my current watching list on hold so that I could focus on re-watching some stuff that I've been meaning to watch again since a few months ago.

While starting up this series (Mai-HiME to be specific) I thought it would be cool to have a "Re-watching" option on MAL so that people who visit each others profile can see what each other are re-watching even though it is not a new series to add to our lists.

I think a re-watching option would be a really nice addition to the site, as it prevents our profiles from becoming idol while we are re-watching other series.

This was just a thought that came to me upon finishing the first episode of Mai-HiME, and thought I would share the idea!

There is one on your anime list. If it says completed you can tick a re-watching box.

Just set it as "rewatching". There's even a button for it. I don't know if it works on the mobile version, but it's been part of the site for a long time. It used to work differently where you would have to set it as rewatched before you started rewatching it to keep your time watched accurate, but I believe that's fixed now. Anime that you are rewatching will show up in the "watching" part of your list but will be the colour of completed anime.
