I have noticed that on Crunchyroll, a few animes, including the insanely awesome and popular Boku Dake ga inai machi, are region blocked in South Africa, while I can respect licensing restrictions and all of that I just can't understand why they would have such a restriction in a country that has no dedicated TV channel or Anime, no local internet streaming sites, and unless you order online and wait for the disks to be imported no shops that sell anime. Can anyone shed some light on the mystical wonders of African licensing issues, because I was kind of enjoying not pirating.

But isn't the problem itself, using foreign media for content? I find it strange that in this day and age we still have these problems in the country. Maybe you could consider piracy for those you can't find. I do use crunchyroll
