I once watched D.Gray-man during my childhood days when it was still airing on our television and stopped during 1/4 of the series. I planned on getting back to it but after hearing the news that it got cancelled and that the manga was on a hiatus I lost interest. But after hearing some good news that the mangaka was starting on it again and a new season was on the making I wanted to try this again from the start. So are the fillers worth watching?

I watched D.Gray man a long time ago and I have to say it has the worst ending of any anime I've ever watched lol. 103 episodes and it doesn't even feel like an ending it feels like it just cuts off mid-episode and that's it. I couldn't believe it at the time lol.

Oh and on topic, I'd recommend watching it all, what's the point of skipping it? It's part of the series and if you feel like skipping it you should probably find a new series.

Seriously though if you're looking for an ending, don't bother. Just wait until the second season starts, if that's even true. I haven't heard anything.

dgray man is pretty unique like 10 eps fine, than 50 much below avarage and than it gets pretty good ...
My favorite quotes from animes:

Those who seek miracles will never experience one. The hand of salvation only extends to people
who try to make miracles happen. - Ef a tale of melodies.
I destroy worlds. I create worlds. - Code geass
We are humans. - Shinsekai yori
100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and a 10km run EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! - One punch man

theres a reason for this. the author/artist for d gray man got really sick i might be wrong but i think she had cancer. She was undergoing recovery in the middle of the arc that takes place right after where the anime ended. so the anime didnt really have enough story/material work to with in order to continue and i'd be damned if they used 100 episodes of filler
