[center]Character Creation

[center]Classes:

At the beginning of the game, every player must choose for their character a class. Classes are permanent choices and cannot be changed.
A class is a style of gameplay which determines the role of a character (Tank, Knight, Rogue, Summoner, Support), type of weapon, armor (metal, leather or cloth) and skills available for a character of use.


[center]Subclasses:

Unlike the classes, subclasses can be changed later in game, but the subclass level is reverted to 0 and all skills acquired are lost.
Also called "Professions", the subclasses are used to bring bonuses to the player.

HARVESTERS: subclasses that focus on harvesting items that can be used for crafting or raw. This Subclass gets discounts on items in the store.

-Miner: harvests ores

RESTORATORS: subclasses that focus on restoring damaged items to their initial forms. This Subclass’s items have a much greater durability and will not cost as much to have repaired.

The Bonuses for subclasses will come in the form of discounts in the store. For example, A crafter will not have to pay full price for a new bow, while a Restorator will. These are color coded for your benefit.

Skills:

Skills are the unique creative characteristic of this RP. They are personalized and custom attacks or move that are unique to your own character. For example, A swordsmen may create a special attack skill called, Shadow Slash. The character uses their Speed to create a quick explosive burst toward the enemy with a downward slash at the end. Smelting similar to that, with more detail involved.

Stat System:

Players will get 30 Stat Points to begin with. These can be distributed into 8 categories. It is recommended that you distribute these points into categories that benefit your characters class.


  • Strength: A measure of how physically strong a character is. Strength often controls the maximum weight the character can carry, melee attack and/or damage, and sometimes hit points. Armor and weapons might also have a Strength requirement.

  • Recovery: This is how quickly your character regains their stamina or magic after expending it.

  • Damage Resistance: A measure of how resilient a character is. Defence usually decreases taken damage by either a percentage or a fixed amount per hit.

  • Speed: A measure of how fast your character is. How fast they can run, swing a sword, react to a situation. Similar to Agility, but not the same.

  • Agility: Your characters ability to move on their feet. Higher agility means better footwork and better skill. A characters acceleration ability.

  • Accuracy: A measure of a character's openness to their surroundings. Accuracy controls the chance to detect vital clues, traps, or hiding enemies, and might influence combat sequence, or the accuracy of ranged attacks.

  • Magic: For all magic users, this is the effectiveness and control of their magic abilities.

  • Health: This is obviously the stat that shows how much vitality your character has. This reaches 0, you’re dead.

Sub Class: Blacksmith

Weapons: 2 Katana's each held in one hand.

Skill 1: AkaChidori

This is an attack Shin uses to aggro his opponent. When used a red lighninght will emerge from his Katanas and will fly to the opponent. This ability has to be aimed so the lightnings can not find the opponent on their own. When hit with this ability the oppoenents will left the target which he was aimimng and start to attack shin. The lightnings deal High damage. This ability has a 3 turns cooldown. This attack has a range of 10 meters.

Skill 2: Heavy Blow

This is an attack Shin can use to stun his opponent. When used shin will hit his oppoenent so hard that they will be stunned for a turn. If the oppoenent has higher defense than shins attack they will endure the stun. This ability has 4 turns of cooldown. This ability has medium damage. It has a short range as shin will have to attack his oppoenent physically.


Personality: Shin is a cheerfull person but while making armors or weapons he becomes consumed by the process. He can get excited quickly for a rare mateiral that he can use to make weapons. He is sarcastic most of the timebut as he doesnt have much of a humour sense he can be understood wrongly and some problems might occur.

Skill #1: Killing Spree
She steps through the shadows towards a visible target within 10 yards and she attacks very fast 7 times within one post. She can however miss her attacks and the person can dodge some of the strikes. At the moment she has finished attacking she goes back to her original place. The ability has a 5 post cool down and her strikes to exceptional damage

Skill #2: Fan of Knives
She started spinning and throws out a barrage of small knives. The knives have a reach of 20 yards and she keeps spinning for 3 posts unless someone can push her over to stop her spinning. The knives to above average damage and the ability has a 5 post cool down

Personality: She is a bit of a sadistic and crazy girl who loves to fight any opponent she can find. However, to persons she doesn't despise inside out, she can be a very caressing and nice person. She doesn't show her face, or her body at all and always wears her armor (except when sleeping). She has a bit of a short temper and therefore is easily angered by sometimes even the smallest of things. In the end she also is a typical rogue, or sometimes called thieve who tends to try and steal her food.

Name: Jeanne d’Arc (reference to the historical figure and Fate/Apocrypha)

Subclass: Grinder

Weapon: A scepter that can be turned into a pole with a flag(see skills)

Skill #1: Luminosité Éternelle
Her staff can turn into a pole with a flag. By planting it into the ground, she can turn the flag into protection, in form of a luminous light, against both physical and magical attacks. The light acts like a barrier, which she can send anywhere she wants to. It works as follows: The barrier isolates anyone inside it from the rest of the world. It’s like a closed space, nothing can go in and out, neither people nor attacks or objects. The downside to the ability is that the damage accumulates within the flag, causing it to begin to tear as she uses it when the barrier is being attacked. It is very sturdy, but even then her weapon usually breaks faster than other weapons.

Skill #2: Obscurité Trompeuse
A simple barrier that lessens the damage of attacks on her target by 5%. It is adaptable and remembers any attack during a battle. The second time the same attack is used on her targets, the damage will be reduced by 10%. The third time it’s 15%, and so on. After the twentieth time, it doesn’t do any damage on her targets at all. It only remembers the attack during one battle though, after the battle is over it will reset to 5%.

Personality: Jeanne is a open-minded, honest, brave and self-confident girl. As the daughter of farmers, she is very plain, but very smart too. Her intentions are always very pure, and she is often naive and stubborn. She is often very carefree, but she can get serious if the situation requires it. (Will be extended later)

Bio: Jeanne is the daughter of farmers. Her life has been very simple but harsh, she was just an ordinary farmer’s girl until she decided to train her supernatural powers at the age of 12. She has lived in the Farming Village of the Blue Kingdom, until her parents got killed by bandits. (Will be extended later)

Subclass: Item Crafter

Weapon: Steel Hula Hoop

Skill #1: Encouraging Dance - She uses her dancing to double her and her allies strength and speed for 5 post. While she is doing this dance she is dancing with her steel hula hoop as a defense mechanism for approaching enemies. Once the dance is over she can start dancing again after a post CD.

Skill #2: Healing Dance - She starts to dance in a slower pace which creates an aura of healing around her to heal her allies wounds for 5 post. During this dance she is defenseless however. She cannot heal herself with this dance. This dance actually drains her energy so she needs two post before she can start dancing again.

Personality: She is an utter air head. She only really goes with the flow of things and does not like mean people. Don't expect anything extremely smart form her. The only things she really knows his how to move her body to the pace of battle. If she says something that could possibly be a good idea it would be by mere chance. Other than that she is very nice and selfless often staking others lives before her own mainly because she thinks because she is dumb that her life is less valuable than others.

Skill #1: War Cry

Milan lets out an extremely loud and intimidating Yell. This causes ALL opponents to become focused on him for 5 posts. The opponents become slightly intimidated as well. This makes their attacks slightly less effective for the same 5 posts. After 5 posts, the enemies will return to their original targets. Their is a 3 post cool down.

Skill #2: The Fortress of Awesomeness

During this skill, Milan Pushes back all enemy Combatants 5 meters from everyone in his team. Attacks can still go through the barrier from both sides. However, no combatants can pass through. Any enemies that are immediately pushed back, are stunned for 1 post. The skill as a whole, lasts 2 posts. The 5 meters is measured from the moment of the skill being used. The players can move after the skill is used, but the radius won’t change. Their is a 3 post cool down.

Personality: Milan is very enthusiastic. He is often happy to rush into battle and be on the front lines. However, he is kind and has a gentle heart. He can often be misconstrued as a pervert, but actually he is just a connoisseur of the Female form. After all, they are meant to be admired. However, no woman is a piece of meat and they deserve to be treated properly. He gets angry when someone mistreats a women.

Weapon: Bow and Arrow

Skill #1: Dancing Arrows.
With this skill, Lina starts to spin and flip while firing multiple arrows at once, causing a big amount of arrows to be fired in a lot of directions, allowing her to keep off her enemies for 2 posts, which is when she needs to switch to a new quiver from her inventory (She usually carries 5 with her). Although her shots arent accurate, there are a lot of them, thus making dodging way harder.

Skill #2: Lovely shot
She looks at her target, no matter how far or which obstacles around it, blowing a kiss before firing her arrow, which is now sparkled in pink as it travels through the air. This area dodges obstacles, going around trees and past other attacks as it homes towards the target. When it hits her target it leaves the hit part paralyzed. The arrow only targets arms or legs. The paralyze lasts for 5 posts. If it gets deflected by her target it explodes in rose petals, causing a 1 post curtain which renders her opponent with a blurred vision.

Personality: : Lina is a happy and loving person, who likes sweet things and can often be bribed with cake. She loves cuddly animals like cats and sheep. Despite her loving personality however, her arrows aren't as sweet, but it's a rare occasion that she gets mad enough to try and use them, only in selfdefense. She also likes to bake cakes and cookies~ She tries to make sure everyone is cheery and happy, hating it to see someone cry and often tries to offer candy to help them cheer up. She often has a smile on her face, and can be a bit touchy

Chen conjures a large keg of ale, that he smashes to the ground, making it explode and making the ale and splinters of wood thrown at his nearby enemies. Inflicting average damage and slow to enemies. The slow lasts for 2 posts and the skill is on cooldown for 5 turns.

Skill #2: Guard

Chen gives himself a defense buff. The buff absorbs all the damage Chen takes during it. After the buff has expired, it turns into damage over time debuff, dealing 5 damage per post. Buff lasts for 4 posts. Debuff lasts for (damage divided by 5, for example 10/5=2) turns. Skill has 12 post cooldown and can be used only twice in combat.

Chen follows a lifestyle of his own. He is calm and collected person. He is willing to protect anyone he sees as friendly and he ignores bad/evil thoughts but acts immediately when he sees someone with bad intentions. He dreams of world that has complete harmony, not containing any conflicts and this is very big reason for his positive, calm and polite personality.

Personality: Caelan rarely speaks, he only does if he has to. He feels a great hatred towards witches and because he has always been treated as a monster he is very reserved and does not trust others easily. He regrets what he had to when trying to find the Erl D’Coute necklace and tries to atone for his sins by saving humans. Even if he does distrust many this does not mean he will not save them if they are victims to assault. Just to clarify, this is not because he cares for people but because he feels the need to atone.

Bio: The Witch Birth

A single solitary sound rang out. Then silence. Then the sound again. Followed by more silence. This pattern repeated 5 times and then the silence drew on, nothing to disturb it. Caelan felt his body being prodded, the ribs to be exact, but it didn’t hurt. Then he was turned over, the darkness that he had been seeing continued even with his change in position. Was he blindfolded? The sound of someone crouching down could be heard, as if his other senses were sharper with his temporary lack of sight. He felt a hand on his chest, it didn’t move at all which was a sign that they were feeling for his heartbeat or casting a spell, possibly both. The hand was removed and he heard someone mutter, [color=purple]Dead.[/color] A couple groans could be heard following this break in the silence. We needed him though… He’s the only one who knows how to slay the witch! A separate voice proclaimed loudly. Someone else hissed angrily at the one who had just spoken, [color=red]Shut up you idiot! It’ll hear us![/color] Caelan tried to move but his efforts were redundant, he heard footsteps as the people began to walk away. No! I’m still alive! He thought furiously but the footsteps continued to distance themselves from him and he was engulfed in the silence once again. But it was broken a second time by the soft sound of something made of fabric dragging across stone.

Then a voice spoke in a whisper, sinister and evil, [color=gray]The wee one is left behind… Abandoned by friends… Or are they enemies?[/color] Caelan struggled again, trying to do something, move something, do anything at all. But it wasn’t until he felt as if he was being pulled from water that he could move, he gasped in air and his vision returned, but not like he was simply opening his eyes. More as if it had just faded in, like his eyes had been open and unseeing, blind. He looked around and struggled to get up. His muscles were weak though, a fake death curse would do that. To his right sat the witch, a beautiful woman with milk white skin, her hair was a pure gold colour, as if the last rays of the sunset had been captured and placed on her scalp. Her eyes were emerald, her lips a deep and supple red, every feature crafted to perfection. She smiled at him, [color=pink]How… quaint. A fledgling hunting a witch, foolish… or courageous?[/color] She asked him. He struggled to stand, working the blood back into his dead muscles, stretching himself out, trying to gain motion in his limbs. His knees shook as he stood, his right hand fell to the dirk by his side, which he unsheathed and held as tightly as possible. The witch giggled, No, your time is not now child. You will sleep again. When you wake I will come for you and you will serve me; as much as you may detest to do so. She smiled and waved her hand, Caelan’s eyes lost their vision a second time and his body went limp. Consciousness escaped him once more.

A few hours previously…
A group sat around a campfire. Small one man tents ringed the party and the smell of venison cooking filled the bottom of the ravine in which they were encamped. It was night time and the fire sent flickering projections of shadows across the ravine walls and the tents, they seemed to dance and move when no one at the campfire did. One figure shifted, a big burly man with a proud black beard. A large double sided war axe was strapped to his back and his small, beady black eyes peered out from underneath bushy eyebrows. The hair on his head, also black, was as unruly as the hair on his face, wild and unkempt. He was obviously quite muscular but a layer of fat had begun to progressively grow larger over the years as a result of too many drinks and not enough fighting. He had only a few scars, a sign that he was a skilled warrior. This man was known as Raknar of the Ukrul province. A warrior of high renown, both for his might in battle and at the table, (No one could best him in a drinking competition). He spoke loud and often, always eager to enforce his view on things upon others. Enough of this damn waiting! Let us enter the bitch’s cave and put her down! He shouts impatiently. The response came from a thin bodied man, he was the antithesis of Raknar. Short, lean muscled, quiet, modest and not an ounce of fat. He was clean shaven, his eyes were yellow like a hawk and ended sharply. He was thing lipped and his blonde hair was brushed neatly back in a ponytail. A longbow rested on his back unstrung, a quiver full of peculiarly shaped arrows beside it. He was known as Nimble Roy, province unknown. Raknar, we have already discussed the subject. A witch is weakest at daytime, we move then. He says softly. Raknar shook his head, he was still in disagreement with the plan but sat nonetheless. Roy was too quick witted and had a tongue sharp enough to cut a throat, there was no way to win a verbal bout with him.



Two others sat at the campfire. One was a weather mage whose name was Iri, his skin was as black as ebony but his teeth and the whites of his eyes were the colour of cleaned bone. He wore purple attire that was common of the isles of Afrique. A birch staff tipped with a jade sphere rested beside him, his key for using magic. The other figure was a vampire. Caelan, whom rarely spoke and wore clothing that covered every bit of flesh. The others hadn’t seen his face, nor his skin colour, nor any other part of him. He wouldn’t be with the others but he was the only one on the continent of Mythril who knew how to slay a witch. His kind, the vampiric kind, were segregated from the rest of civilisation, they were monsters and treated as such. Mythril was a mysterious continent, the rest of the world, who did not wield magic, did not even know that it existed. It was the birthplace of the Dragons from the tale of old and the land that the Creators had first crafted. The rest of Earth functioned without magic, instead relying on logic and science to invent, create and inspire. According to Earth’s dating Mythril was currently in the 1200th century. While the rest of the world warred over petty coin and territory, Mythril was in the beginning stages of a reoccurring crisis that took place every two centuries. The birth of a witch. Mythril would eventually cease to exist and the population that lived there would scatter around the world, spreading small pockets of magic throughout the lands, but that is a story for another time. This story is the tale of the three men and one vampire who set out to absolve the crisis of a witch birth before it could do substantial damage.

As the dawn sun fought its way over the horizon, its light was cast into the ravine. The group woke and the sounds of a camp being packed away resounded out against the stone walls. Caelan went to help Raknar with his tent but the large warrior held up a hand. [color=red]I can do it myself vampire,[/color] He proclaims, not wanting Caelan near him. Vampires made him uncomfortable. After a few minutes of bustling activity the ravine fell silent once more, the camp packed away and the group standing at the entrance to the cave that the witch was in. Iri spoke up, his voice was deep and beautiful, like every syllable was sung in a subtle and soft way. So it begins. The witch hunt. Mythril relies on us at this moment and we must not failure her. Raknar for once remains silent. Somehow, speaking after Iri’s words seemed like the wrong thing to do. Roy was the first to enter the cave, stepping inside and instantly disappearing in the shadows. Raknar followed with a lantern to light the way. Then Iri, his staff making dull thuds as he walked. Caelan was last to enter, walking smoothly and gracefully in the way that vampires do.

The walls of the cave was covered in a moist layer of moss, spongey and strangely pungent. The stench of it resembling rotten eggs and decaying corpses. Iri mutters, Death Ivy… In explanation of what the strange moss was. Wind whistled, sounding strangely like words of another language, as if beckoning them. Raknar shifts his grip on his war axe, readying it for any sudden action. Roy had already strung his longbow and one of his glass tipped arrows was resting on the bowstring, his feet made virtually no sound as he tread along, Raknar’s footsteps were loud, Iri’s were muffled and Caelan’s were soft and sharp. About half an hour of walking deeper into the cave was enough for Raknar to find his voice again. How much bloody longer do we need to walk for? He asks, his face red and sweat shining on his forehead from the amount of walking they had done so far. Shut up Raknar, you make enough noise as is without talking, Roy states with annoyance. A single high pitched sound rings out suddenly. Like metal on stone. Raknar goes to ask what the sound was but Roy holds a finger up to silence him. They creep forward silently and the cave opens up into a massive cavern. Light suddenly floods the scene, the source of which was large orbs that floated near the ceiling. Stalactites and stalagmites were abundant and strange plants covered the walls and floor. The ground was dirt and some trees were scattered about. [color=purple]What is this magic?[/color] Iri asks quietly, looking around in awe. Caelan had to agree, it was quite beautiful here. Almost… enchanting… Roy draws his arrow back, obviously sensing something. Raknar adjusted his grip on his axe and dropped into a combat ready crouch. Iri’s staff crackled to life, static on the jade sphere. Caelan simply drew his short sword, keeping it limp by his side. Then a cackle filled the cavern. A voice calls out, echoing all around them.

[b]The nimble, the strong, the intelligent and the silent venture into my lair to slay me. How very sweet of them to visit me~[/b] A figure appears, it was seemingly made of shadow, and no features decorated it. It was like a naked person’s silhouette. A blade grew from its palm, a sharp and cruel weapon. The shade leaps forward at Raknar who responds with expert speed, his axe slicing it in half. A horrible scream emitted from the shade as it exploded into mist. Immediately after, a root erupts out of the ground and wraps around Nimble Roy, whose arrow and bow fell harmlessly onto the dirt ground. He was thrown across the cavern and disappeared behind the greenery that grew from the cavern floor. He didn’t make a sound as he was thrown but Raknar did. He began to swear loudly, [color=red]Fuck! You god damn bitch! Face us!!![/color] He screams before charging forward. Iri shouts out after him, [color=purple]NO![/color] But it was too late, two shades appeared behind Raknar and smashed him over the head, he crumpled forward and didn’t get up again. Iri mutters something under his breath and a bolt of lightning streaks from his staff, slamming into one of the shades and throwing it back. The other shade sprints at Caelan who calmly raises his short sword to spear it. Caelan and Iri stand together now, ready to face any other threats. They did not move, they only waited. Then a spear made of darkness materialized across the cavern and sped at Iri. The mage responds with a blast of wind that rolls into the spear’s path. Unfortunately it did not stop and continued straight into the mage, he slammed against the cavern wall behind Caelan and he two did not get up. The vampire readies himself but a piercing hot pain shot through his shoulder and he fell to his knees. His short sword was dropped from limp fingers and he slammed face first into the ground, his vision going black. He lay there for an age, listening to the silence, which in itself had a sound. Then after what seemed an eon, but in reality was only a few minutes, he finally heard something…

A single solitary sound. Then silence.

The Awakening (Master Sing’s chapter)



No dreams. No thoughts. No feelings. No emotion. No anything. The witch’s curse was tranquil. Nothing happened, it was as if nothing existed and nothing would exist. Mythril had in simple words been destroyed, the population scattered around the non-magical world, spreading magic into it. Throughout the ages the land of Mythril was eventually forgotten. The witch, undeterred by any man or woman had managed to destroy the continent but was eventually slain. Caelan remained asleep during this time, not aging. The lair of the witch was the only single remaining gateway to the destroyed land of Mythril, this is because of its magical properties and the fact that it was the birthplace of a witch. But as the world progressed and changed dramatically because of technological advances there was eventually one man who would find this cave. A man who had a passion for music and travelled the world in search of an epic guitar. A man by the name of Master Sing.

Master Sing was traveling the world, only freshly acquainted with the freedom that the world had to offer. Sing was on a ship in the Bermuda Triangle, a place he had always wanted to visit, when a storm hit. Sing was however not scared of it, in fact he was excited that he got to witness this incredible event, after all it was a pretty fucking huge storm. Perhaps he would find the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle through this storm, so he braced himself for whatever was to come. A violent whirlpool had begun a few hundred meters from the ship that Sing was on, and because of its incredible force the ship was being dragged steadily towards it. The crew were going crazy, praying to whatever deities they worshipped and preparing themselves for the death was to come. Sing however, patiently waited for the ship to approach the whirlpool. When they were close enough Sing could see that nature would claim this ship and its crew. So obviously, the only option was to jump into it and see where it would take him, there was no escaping it after all. He also possessed the random and illogical thought that perhaps the legendary guitar he was looking for was in there. Additionally, Sing was a rockstar, therefore he could do and would do anything. With these thoughts in mind he took a running start and jumped overboard, straight into the whirlpool’s clutches. The force of the water was tremendous, Earth truly is an amazing place He thought to himself as he was sucked downwards. He performed a rockstar sign with his left hand (This is when someone puts there little finger, pointer finger and thumb up and leave the middle finger and ring finger down.) He then somehow managed to pull out his phone, which was waterproof, and take the first ever underwater selfie. Of course, this selfie wasn’t called a selfie back in this time but for the sake of simplicity it is referred to as one. Anyway, a few moments later he found himself struggling to breathe, (as he wasn’t a fish), and the pressure of being so far underwater was also getting to him. But he felt a tug on his foot and his eyes snapped shut as he was yanked roughly to the side. When he opened them again he was in an underground forest.

This underground forest was extraordinary, a few trees sprouted from the dirt floor, numerous unknown species of plant life grew from the ground as well. The ceiling of the cavern was high and covered in stalactites. The walls of the cavern was rough stone and the floor had the occasional stalagmite, which shouldn’t have been possible on the dirt ground. He began to walk around, admiring this new found wonder. What was this place? How was it possible? Had humans been here before? The answer to this last question came in an unexpected way. A figure was crumpled on the ground, breathing steadily in the way that people do in deep sleep. Sing couldn’t see any part of the figure’s flesh as they were completely covered in clothing. He knelt down and turned them over, he could see that there was no lumps on the chest, meaning that they were a male. He prods the sleeping man and upon getting no response begins to sing. That was the normal thing to do after all~ Little did Sing know that singing was the way to wake the man on the floor. A witch’s curse was always easily breakable, the trick was to find out how to break it. Caelan stirred and his eyes opened. He tried to move and he immediately began to cramp up. He groaned in agony as all his muscles tightened uncontrollably. After being still for so long his muscles were unaccustomed to such sudden movement. Sing lightly pushes Caelan onto his back and begin to massage the cramps away. After a good half hour of this the cramps subside. Caelan turns his head to look at Master Sing, his memory only just beginning to return. He remembered the witch and the things she had said. He jerked up into a sitting position and punched Master Sing square in the face. Master Sing took the blow and stared at Caelan, not doing anything for half a second. Then he punches him back, right on the jaw. Caelan’s head rocks backwards and he scrambles to his feet, his hands up to launch any further punches. Master Sing calmly gets up and looks at him, Why did you punch me? He asks with a very confused expression. Caelan continues to stare at him. Do you understand me? CAN YOU HEAR ME!?! Sing asks, the second question was shouted at the top of his lungs. Caelan cringes, his eardrums unaccustomed to such noise. He nods his head and puts his hands down, obviously realizing that Master Sing was not a witch. He was too ugly to be one.

Master Sing sighs and asks, Why do you not speak? Caelan shrugs and tries to say something. His voice came out raspy and dry, Water. Sing stares at him, ‘water’ didn’t explain why the dude didn’t speak. Sing came to a realization, the guy was stupid. He nods and says, Of course, ‘water’. I understand now. What is your name? Caelan stares at Master Sing, confused for a few seconds. Obviously Master Sing was missing a few chromosomes. Caelan decides that he would have to talk a bit more than he usually did. Caelan. Do you have any water? Master Sing shakes his head, No, my name isn’t Caelan, it is Master Sing. And yes, here is some water. He says before handing the water over, obviously thinking that the dude was not the full quid. Caelan raises an eyebrow beneath his mask and takes the water, he unzips a small piece of his mask, thus revealing some very pale lips. He raises the flask to his mouth and takes a sip, his teeth flashed as he did this. He corks the flask and hand it back over to Master Sing, Well Master Sing, I was saying that my name is Caelan, not yours. He says to him. Master Sing realizes now that there had been a misunderstanding. Ah. I see, sorry I thought you were a bit simple and called me ‘Caelan’. I am a rockstar by the way, do you happen to know where I could find a legendary guitar? He asks the vampire. Caelan however did not know what a guitar was and shook his head, [color=gray]What is this guitar you speak of? This is the witch’s lair, have you come to slay her?[/color] He asks. Master Sing laughs at this, A witch? What on earth are you talking about? I jumped into a whirlpool in the Bermuda Triangle and I randomly appeared here. Their conversation continued like this, eventually they began to understand what had happened. That Caelan had been frozen in his age and the world had progressed a few centuries. He doesn’t take this well, Raknar, Iri and Roy would all be dead if that was true, but did they destroy the witch? After a few more hours of talking they began to learn of each other’s worlds. Caelan began to understand that Master Sing was actually quite smart, just a little strange. Master Sing had never heard of Mythril and Caelan began to suspect that the witch had managed to succeed in destroying his home continent. He would have to check on this so he asked Master Sing to come with him and see what had become of his home.

When they exited the cave Caelan fell to his knees. Mythril was… Well it had been turned into something hellish. The soil was black and dead, as if it had been burned. Mountains were reduced to rumble and lightning constantly lit up the red sky. It looked like hell, lava constantly erupted from random parts of the ground, creating massive rivers of the molten rock. In every direction there was no sign that life existed. Caelan had of course been segregated from Mythril’s normal society for being a vampire, but it was still his home and when someone’s home is destroyed they begin to feel lost, having no place to return to, no place to belong to. He did not cry though, Caelan hadn’t cried since his transformation from human to vampire. He stands and faces Master Sing, though his eyes couldn’t be seen behind his mask it was obvious that he was angry. His gloved hands were curled into tight fists and his aura was frightening. Master Sing saw this and decided against telling him to take a chill pill. He instead pats him on the shoulder and starts to sing. It was a song that spoke of loss, but also the wonders that the rest of the world had to offer. It calmed Caelan down a bit and his fists unclenched. Take me to your world. He says, wanting to leave this place, it was no longer his home. It was a dead thing, a forgotten thing, no longer filled with the magic it once contained. After these words Master Sing and Caelan felt a strange sensation, it was as if they were slowly fading away. Both of their visions went black and when it returned they found themselves in Greece. Master Sing immediately turns to Caelan, This is my world, I hope you can find some sort of appeasement here. But for now I will bid you farewell, hopefully we will meet again. Rock on dude. He says before raising his right hand to fist bump Caelan. Caelan does not know the action but mirrors it. Sing proceeds to give Caelan an awesome fist bump before leaving to go check out a music store. Caelan stares after him, Strange fellow… He thinks before walking away. Caelan was only 14 at this time, his age had been frozen when the witch had put her curse on him. So now he begins to explore this strange world, with its iPads and Blackberries, which weren’t berries at all. Little did he know that another witch birth was to take place in the following year…

The Hunt (Lucifer O'Astora’s chapter)



It was a few months after his awakening. He had traveled quite a bit in that time, managing to acquire a reputation; and not a good one at that. He had changed his attire after realizing that his clothes were quite frayed and tore easily. Caelan was now considered by many people as a threat. He was in search of an item that he had heard about and he was using any means necessary to acquire it. This item was a necklace known as the Erl D’Coute. An enchanted item that allowed vampires such as he to gain a powerful boost to their abilities. Caelan’s father had once been in possession of it, but this was many centuries ago and it had obviously survived Mythril’s destruction. It was rumoured to be in the hands of a rather powerful organization that specialized in hunting and killing dark beings. This organization was known as ‘Lovci’. Since vampires are in fact dark beings this meant that Caelan was on their hit list. He was known to them as ‘Mascați’ which means ‘The Masked’ in Romanian. Anyhow, Caelan was determined to find the Erl D’Coute as he wanted to make sure that the next time the witch was born he would be able to face her with increased strength. His goal was a benevolent one but the methods he used to achieve it were not. Apparently this world did not accept vampires either, he was treated as he was in Mythril, as a monster. Realizing this, Caelan knew he would have to employ different methods when dealing with people. He tried to hide the fact that he was a vampire but when he began to speak of the Erl D’Coute people would begin a line of questioning he couldn’t find a way around. These questions inevitably took a long time to ask and answer but he simply did not have the time to answer them. It was obvious that methods such as torture and killing were much more effective and wasted little time. So Caelan began to be known as a murderer, a torturer, a deadly vampire who employed malevolent methods to achieve his goal. He did deserve these titles and he did earn them, but not for the reasons that people thought. Nonetheless he was eventually proclaimed as a top class threat to society by Lovci. Thus began The Hunt.

According to Caelan’s sources Lovci had signed a mutual agreement with another organization named ‘Hairs of the Sun’. They held the same goals as Lovci except they worked more with the idea of protecting people, rather than simply slaying every dark creature. The one who led The Hunt was known as Lucifer. An ironic name for someone who hunted dark beings. Lucifer was a member in Hairs of the Sun and apparently his prowess and unique powers set him apart from the rest of the organization. Caelan had always managed to escape before Lucifer and his hunting party could catch up to him, but there had been a few close calls which gave Lucifer motivation to continue onwards. Caelan was in short very annoyed by the persistent hunter. He had come close to retrieving the Erl D’Coute a few times but was always interrupted by Lucifer before he could get hold of it. He was a pest, and a pest needed to be eliminated. As such, Caelan decided to get rid of him as he was obviously not losing Caelan’s scent. So Caelan began to do things like intentionally nearly getting caught, pretending to be weakened, and also spying. He managed to get a good grasp of Lucifer and his party’s numbers. Lucifer seemed to be quite… Jolly, which was the only word that Caelan could think of to describe the hunter’s attitude. Especially when Caelan pretended to be weak and injured in their presence. This would encourage Lucifer, who would shout out to his men, Have faith in the Light gentlemen, for the creature draws near! Finally, after around a month of risky manoeuvres and bread crumbs, Caelan was ready to initiate his plan.

It took place in a small trail through the mountains of Yugoslavia, the trail was large enough for two men abreast and Lucifer was at the forefront of the expedition. Even from where Caelan was sitting, he could see that Lucifer was encouraging his men to power through the rain and the cold of the storm. Caelan placed his mask upon his face and stood on the ledge, they were beneath him now, positioned exactly where they needed to be. He pulls a knife from his belt and then pricks a finger through his glove, he lets one droplet of blood patter on the ground to his right and similarly, one to his left. These blood droplets expanded until they were two medium sized pools of blood. The pools began to ripple and suddenly two beings leapt from them. They were Caelan’s bloodhounds. They had pale skin, were hairless and they possessed no eyes. Skin seemed to be stretched taut over their eye sockets. They also had very long fangs, perfect for ripping into flesh. Caelan mutters something under breath and the dogs leap off the ledge he was standing and rush down the mountain sides to the trail. As soon as Caelan began to hear the cries of the men and the disgusting sounds of tearing flesh, he made his move. He himself scrambled down the mountain face, albeit in a way so that the hunters would not see him. Suddenly, Caelan saw a flash of light and two yelps. After this there was a strange silence. All of this had happened in the space of around 4 seconds. Not a long time at all but due to the area being so clustered it had been easy for his bloodhounds to rip apart the enemies. Caelan made it to the trail and looked to see what had become of the bloodhounds and the hunters. Both his bloodhounds were dead but they had managed to take majority of the hunting party down with them. This wouldn’t have been achievable if they were not in such an enclosed space. Only two hunters remained, Lucifer and another man whose left arm ended in a bloody, fleshy stump. Obviously the hand had been torn off by one of the bloodhounds. This mean he was incapable of fighting and that Caelan was in reality only facing one opponent. Lucifer.

The jolly hunter was still jolly, but he also looked irritated. He was covered in the blood and gore of his fellow hunters, his companions, possibly even his friends. Caelan stood unnaturally still, a mirror image of Lucifer. They eyed each other down, Caelan from behind his mask, Lucifer from behind a blank expression. You are a foul creature indeed. Tell me, can you not see the Brilliance of the Light, Vampire? The hunter finally says, his jolly tone still in effect. Caelan removes one glove and drags his knife across his palm. Blood spilled from it and he raised it so that it was across his body. He then whips it across in an arc, blood flew from the wound on his palm and something peculiar happened. It solidified as it left, forming a sharp slash of blood about a meter in length. It flew at Lucifer with exceptional speeds but Lucifer merely ducked his head slightly. The blood slash passed over him as it had been aimed at his skull. Lucifer then creates what looked to be a ray of light. He throws it at Caelan but the vampire responds with another blood slash that intercepts it. He then spins and follows up with a third blood slash at Lucifer’s torso. Lucifer throws a second ray of light to crash into it before it reached him. They now stand still once more, facing each other. The hunter and the hunted. Then something strange occurred, Caelan felt his entire body go rigid. The whistling of the wind stopped, in fact, he could hear no other sound except for his own breathing. He struggled to break his invisible bonds but try as he might he could not escape. Was this the work of his opponent? Surely not, no man could possibly possess such an ability. If that was true then it meant that it was the work of something else. A higher power. Caelan watched, as if in slow motion, Lucifer raising his hand. Caelan felt the presence of an object above him, but he couldn’t look up to see what it was. A few moments later he felt a tremendous piercing pain in his right shoulder. His bindings released and he fell to his knees, the object had been a sword. He groans and falls onto his side, the pain was incredible. Lucifer walks slowly over to him, his eyes were cold. Why? Why do you murder and torture? Does it give you satisfaction? Or is it merely because you are a monster? Caelan groans and rolls over onto his back, [b]You are wrong… I do it… I do it because I’m working towards the greater good. I’m trying to save… trying to save you. It is your fault, humanity’s fault that I have to murder. If you only accepted those… those that are different. You are the monster here, hear me out… I beg of you.[/b] After Caelan said this Lucifer responded without hesitation, I understand why many creatures resent the light, why they stay hidden in the dark, but why do you? We cannot let those who bring harm to keep doing so. What is all this murdering and torture to you? How does it help in achieving your goals, this Greater Good? Protecting me is not necessary, but speak up, pale one. Tell me what you know.

Caelan began from the very beginning, Mythril, the witch, the reasons behind wanting the Erl D’Coute. Everything was explained. Lucifer listened quietly to this and when Caelan was finished with his story he said this, So you are the lesser of two evils.... but why should I trust you? What is the chance of you speaking the truth? Caelan sighs behind his mask, [b]For not all creatures born of the dark lie. I beg of you to see that my story is true.[/b] Lucifer knelt down, from his pocket he withdrew a necklace. Caelan’s eyes widened. It was the Erl D’Coute. How long had Lucifer possessed it? Was it always in his hands? I obtained it a few weeks ago. We managed to chase you away before you got it, ironic, right? So, if I give you this… Will the killing stop then? He asks, he had obviously decided to trust Caelan. Which was an extraordinary thing to do consider that Caelan had just murdered all his companions. Caelan nods once and Lucifer adds, I will give it to.... but only on a promise of you stopping with your wrongdoings, and that you come find me when the Witch Hunt comes around. The Heirs of the Sun will stand against this Witch. We cannot allow you alone to bring down such a threat to our world, your world now as well. He then puts the Erl D’Coute in Caelan’s pocket after Caelan promises to do as he said. Lucifer then holds his hand up and gathers light between his palms. It formed a sphere of light which his hands closed around, thus causing it to coat his palms with a warm radiance. He then places both his hands onto Caelan’s shoulder and the pain begins to fade. Lucifer was healing him. This caused Lucifer to smile for some reason. [b]I see… You are not as impure as I thought…[/b] He mutters to himself. After this process was finished he stood and turned his back on Caelan. Break this promise and I will hunt you down again. Oh, and to find me, just ask around for the Lightbringer O'Astora. Until then, Vampire, fare thee well.. He says just before Caelan passes out.

The Second Witch Birth (Mamoru Sekai’s chapter)



Creature… Murderer… Monster... Vampire… These words haunted him where ever he chose to go. After the events of The Hunt Caelan had lost all hope that the world would accept him. He chose to simply let it all go. He ignored the words of those who insulted him. He ignored the horrified looks of those who recognized him. He ignored the children’s cries of fear. He ignored the women who screamed when he walked past. He ignored it all behind the mask that he constantly wore. Somehow the mask was a barrier, something that took the dirt from his hands. It kept him innocent. Beneath the mask was a simple 16 year old vampire who meant no harm. Who wanted to protect the people that walked Earth. His mask protected him from their cries, their words, their screams and their expressions. He kept walking, the Erl D’Coute around his neck, strengthening him, reminding him of the task he had to do. Yes. That was all that mattered. To kill the witch. To kill the witch. To kill the- To kill- To kill. To kill. To kill. Because of this being his only thought and drive he had forgotten the promise he had made to the lightbringer. He was in Romania, where the signs of an impending witch birth was evident. He sat in the room of the hotel which he had booked. The receptionist had been too scared to refuse him. He had also threatened her so she did not tell anyone he was here. He removes his mask and turns it around so he saw his other self staring up at him. His Barrier. His Protector. A sudden droplet of water pattered onto the mask, it slowly rolled down the side and reached the edge where it desperately tried to hold on. But despite its efforts the tear fell, disappearing into the carpet. More patters. More tears clinging. And more tears falling. A strange sound escaped his throat, a strangled breath. What was it that so desperately forced this sob from him? Was is self-pity? Was it fear? Or was it something else? Something deeper?

Isolation… Is a terrible thing. It is the worst type of pain that someone can feel. A voice said. Caelan’s head snapped up, looking for the source, his mask quickly returning to his face so as to cover up his innocence. The voice came from a man who sat in a chair positioned at the corner of the room. Greetings Mascați... How do I know? What else would force one of the most feared vampires to cry like so? He says in response to Caelan’s unasked question. Caelan stands from the bed and looks at this man, his short sword was already out and in his right hand, ready for use. The man stands from the chair and holds up a hand, Calm yourself Mascați, I am not here to harm you. I have heard of you of course, your deeds and your apparent quest. The quest to slay a witch. I am here to see if this is true, your goal that many believe to be a falsity. Caelan however was not one to trust so easily, not after what he had seen and heard. Not after the way every single damnable human on this earth had treated him. Why should this man want to hear his story? What was the reasoning behind it? Pure curiousity? Pity? Understanding? For all he was worth, Caelan could not work out why this man had come. He points his short sword at him and asks, [color=crimson]Your name?[/color] In a clear and yet also cold voice, it had changed over the past year. Becoming deeper and filled with hurt. The man smiles lightly to show good intentions and replies with, Mamoru Sekai.

Talking was something that Caelan did rarely nowadays. But now he speaks with this man, this ’Sekai’. Caelan speaks of his goals and he soon began to realize that Sekai was genuine in his curiousity. He wanted to know, he wanted to help. ’Why?’ was still the question that Caelan wished to ask. However he felt no need to ask it just yet. They then began to speak of their past experiences, their stories. Caelan eventually sheathed his short sword and allowed Sekai to sit within two meters of him. Caelan was intrigued about Sekai’s story. He had never had a sibling so he didn’t know how to feel about the idea of Sekai having to kill his brother. Apparently he was now searching for his niece, a girl by the name of Yume. After both of them finished talking Caelan felt better then he had in a long time. I have a proposal. You help me slay the witch and I will help you search for Yume. Caelan says into the silence that had followed their end in conversation. Sekai thought this over for a few moments and nods, I suppose I could assist you in this witch slaying. You have a deal Mascați. Caelan shakes his head, It’s Caelan. The two shook hands to signify that they had reached an understanding. Sekai had disappeared for the night, allowing Caelan to sleep before the day came again. When the morning sun rose there was a strange aura in the air. Something was astir and Caelan had no doubts as to what it was. A witch was being born. Moments after Caelan exited the hotel Sekai appeared, ready for what was to come. They began their hike, the birth place of this witch was in the rough mountain terrains of Romania. The following hours resulted in much physical exertion, but it eventually payed off as they reached a large flat area of cliff that protruded over the land. The fall was devastatingly high if someone was to leap off the edge. Caelan had felt the tug of magic that a witch birth always delivered, and that tug had led Sekai and him right here. There was but one problem.

Where is the witch? Sekai asks, his head turning to look around. The wind blew steadily, playing with the loose pieces of their clothing. A sudden sound could be heard, it was like metal on stone. The ground cracked around 50 meters away from the spot where Sekai and Caelan were standing, from it poured a thin stream of golden light. [b]It comes, ready yourself.[/b] Caelan says as he draws his knife. He felt the power of the Erl D’Coute pulsing through him, it sensed the magic of the witch. The crack widened and a scream could be heard from the crevice. A hand shot out of the crack, grasping the edge and trying to pull the rest of body that it belonged to out of its confinement. It succeeded in this task and the witch was born. It was just as Caelan remembered, a woman with milk white skin, golden hair, soft red lips. It wore white silks that concealed any genitals; even so, it was still quite a revealing outfit. The witch looks over at Sekai and Caelan, Oh? How rare for there to be a reception for me. Fledgling, you do not fail to impress. How did you break my spell, child? Perhaps your friend here was the one to do it~ The witch says. Caelan could not think of it as a ’she’, something so incredibly evil could only be referred to as an ’it’. Caelan wastes no time in talk, he instead draws his knife across his hand. Thus cutting himself, but there was purpose in this action of course. He whips his hand across his body in an arc, blood sprays from the cut in his hand and forms a 1 meter long slash of blood that solidified as it left his flesh, it travelled at impressive speeds towards the witch. But the witch merely waved a hand and a shade burst from the ground. It was simply a man-shaped mass of shadow but it intercepted the blood slash and burst into mist with a terrible cry of agony. More shades began to appear and moved to attack both Caelan and Sekai. Caelan sent two more slashes of blood at the shades, one hit and the other missed. He sheathed his knife and drew his short sword, ready to get up close and personal with the shades. But he did not need to as Sekai made 8 orbs appear, they were a bluish colour and circled Sekai in a clockwise manner. He took only around 16 seconds to do this but the shades had stopped moving towards them. They were looking at the orbs curiously, as was the witch. Then one of the orbs shot out lightning, the lightning slammed into a shade and turned it to mist. All 7 of the remaining orbs did the same, each one miraculously managed to hit a shade and by the time they were all gone there was only one shade left. This shade made a futile attempt to attack but Caelan drove it through with his sword. The witch laughed, I see~ Elemental based magical orbs. Very interesting. Fine, I will play with you as a reward for letting me see this unique power. She then splays her hand and a huge vine around 2 meters in diameter erupts from the ground, it was a good 20 meters in length and whipped around at incredibly fast speeds. It darted forward at Sekai, looking to crush him with its heavy mass but Sekai was already moving out from underneath its looming shadow. It smashed into the ground where Sekai had just been standing and began to rise up again. Sekai had however already created two fire orbs, one was used on the vine, instantly beginning to burn it. The other was directed towards the witch itself, who erected an invisible barrier that rendered the attack useless as the fire spell slammed against it. Caelan had already made his move in this time. Where Caelan once stood was something completely different. It was a monster.

The monster was Caelan in his feral vampire form. His skin had grown pale and his mucles taut and lean. There was hardly any muscle mass on his torso and the skin was very tight there, resulting in the ribcage, collarbone and spine protruding. His teeth had grown into extremely sharp fangs and his hands and feet had been replaced with claws. His eyes, ears and nose had disappeared, smooth skin replacing them. He was also completely hairless and his genitals were non-existent. His legs possessed powerful muscles and he moved on all fours. He launched himself with insane speeds at the witch. Who quickly sent a shadow his way, but Caelan managed to dodge the projectile attack with ease. He then reached the witch and lashed out with a claw. The witch however had a defence for even this, she created a glowing ball of gold while Caelan rushed at her. Just before he reached her she released the ball. It exploded, bathing the area in a golden light. Sekai covered his eyes and when he opened them again he saw Caelan lying on his back, he had returned to his previous form, his clothes mysteriously intact; as if they had just reappeared. Caelan was lying unnaturally still and the witch picked his limp body up in her arms. She smiled malevolently at Sekai, who was preparing another orb. But the witch did not wait around for Sekai’s attack, instead she dived down into the crack from whence she had appeared. The crack close behind her and Sekai was left alone. He didn’t find out what happened to Caelan until a year later. That is however a tale yet to be told. Sekai’s role in this chapter ends here. The witch took Caelan to a place where he could once again remain in slumber until she had need of him. The time was not right for her plans to hatch, she would patiently wait for her chance. She once again sent Caelan to sleep and left him in a resting place.

No dreams. No thoughts. No feelings. No emotion. No anything. The witch’s curse was tranquil. Nothing happened, it was as if nothing existed and nothing would exist. But from this nothingness there was sudden life. A single solitary sound. Then silence. And silence is alas… a thing.

Provenance



Before the witches, Mythril thrived as a wealthy and rarely conflicting continent. It was perhaps the only place on Earth at the time that did not have different provinces warring over territory and other resources. The respective leaders all had a general understanding of the goals they each wanted to achieve and they ruled with the intention of helping each other. The world would have done good to learn from them, Mythril could be described as a utopia. If it wasn’t for the underlying discrimination that will always exist in civilisation. Those that were different would be segregated away from normal society, as such the people of Mythril tried to conform and become as ‘normal’ as possible. Caelan was of a household that belonged to the name of Pjantro. He was a bastard of the house, his father having had an affair with another woman, which resulted in his birth. As a result of this he was unfairly hated by his father’s wife. In this time divorce was rare and frowned upon so even those who had an affair could simply brush it off as a small bump in a relationship that didn’t really matter. After all, marriage was more of a financial bond in this time than anything. Though there was marriages born of love, they were far and wide. Caelan was not given his father’s surname of Pjantro, instead he went nameless. This was the foreshadowing of his future events. Caelan the nameless, Caelan the bastard, Caelan the unwanted. That is what his halfsiblings would call him. He felt no love for them and they felt no love for him. A mutual dislike for each other would be best to describe this relationship. There was three of them, two girls and a boy. All of them were older than himself. They took this as an invitation to hurt and bully him into doing whatever they wanted. His father was the only one who demonstrated love for Caelan; he would not call him a bastard, he would call him a son. He would not hurt him, he would pat him on the shoulder encouragingly. He stuck up for him and told the others off for bullying. Caelan loved his father but that was only a small positive in a world of negative. Even so, the smallest positive can make a difference.

There was rift appearing in Mythril, tension was rising between two of the provinces’ leaders. The Sultan of Afrique had accused the Jarl of Urkul that they had sent threatening messages to members of the Sultan’s court. The Jarl denied these accusations at once and demanded the evidence to back the accusations up. Little did both sides know that a third party with the intention of causing destruction had been planting seeds of deceit among both the Urkul and Afrique courts. Next came accusations of espionage, though these accusations held truth to them as both parties had begun to feel distrust and resent towards one another. Over time the rift grew larger and Mythril was on the brink of war. Caelan had reached the age of 13, he was a secluded and conservative person, always opting for the passive way out of things. His family life had not changed, except for the fact that he simply avoided his halfsiblings, apart from one of them. The youngest of them, Mikayla, who was still a year older than Caelan, had felt sorry for her half-brother and would often talk with him without the other two noticing. A small relationship blossomed between the two and they began to spend more time together, playing catch and hide and go seek in the late afternoon after their studies had been finished. The other two were more focused on their studies so they didn’t play with Mikayla that often anymore, meaning there was little danger she would be caught playing with Caelan. They were innocent and ignorant of the political stress that their continent faced. Finally the tension was unleashed in the form of a massive war. Mythril was divided into two, provinces either joined Urkul or Afrique, and if they didn’t wish to join the war then they were more or less forced into it. Caelan lived in a small province known as Yulg. Yulg had been forced onto the side of Urkul as it was surrounded on all sides by provinces belonging to the Alliance of Urkul. Caelan’s father was forced to join the army, as was Caelan’s half-brother, who was 19.

By some unknown magic, most likely belonging to the one who had created the original stress between the two provinces, a witch was born. This was the first time in 50 centuries that this had happened. It had become possible because of the massive numbers of dead and the incredible amount of hostile magic being used. Mythril became riddled with conflict, death was common, betrayal was abundant, pillaging and rape was the norm. Caelan’s somewhat peaceful world was disrupted and replaced with a world that was covered in the gruesome shades of blood. Caelan’s household had been overrun by enemy soldiers and he had managed to escape, Mikayla hadn’t been so lucky. She was most likely being passed around by the soldiers. The thought made him stop in his tracks, he looked back at the burning mass of wood that had been his home. He had to save her, she would be terrified and rightfully so. Caelan may have been scared as well but courage could only be possible when someone felt fear. So he ran back to his home, desperate to save Mikayla. When he reached it he saw his half-sister being raped, just as he had feared. Her screams were agonizing, the look in her eyes made him want to crumble and blow away in the wind. But something overcame him, complete and utter fury. They were hurting one of the only people who had acknowledged him, he didn’t know where his father was and he wouldn’t let these monsters take away the only other person who had cared for him. His fury twisted around inside him, it was black, writhing and alive. It screamed for the chance to feel the blood of its enemies. It desired to hear the screams of those who hurt his sister. In this moment Caelan felt a small presence inside him, Take this power young one, kill those who hurt you. Destroy those who oppose you. Become strong. Become courageous. Become a challenger. Suddenly Caelan felt power pulse through him. He would never be able to say exactly what happened in the moments that followed. All he could recall was screaming and something crimson coating the ground and himself. Possibly blood. He stood over his half-sister, she was crumpled on the floor, her breathing was shallow, she whimpered occasionally and her cheeks were stained with tears. He knelt beside her and placed a blood-covered hand on her cheek, his own tears watering the ground. Mikayla? He asks. His call goes unanswered as the battered and abused girl breathed her final breath.

Caelan howled, furious in his failure to protect. Furious at the unjustness of the world. Furious at himself. Furious at the one who had caused this all. Yes… Come… Come and find me… I am the one who cause the death of your sister. You will know where to reach me, I have given you power. Use it. The voice says. His anger is renewed and he begins his trek to find this voice. The war was ongoing but he ignored it; if anything, the confusion helped him. He managed to gather three others who would be able to help him destroy this voice. Which he had discovered to be a witch through his journey. All throughout his travel he was treated as a ‘thing’, as a ‘monster’, as something ‘unwanted’. Caelan began to understand how prejudice worked, it was a great time saver, as it allowed people to form opinions without first getting the facts. People assumed he was malevolent because of his power, which had turned out to be vampirism. In reality he was trying to save them all from a deadly threat that aimed for the destruction of Mythril and the world. Because they did not help him in his quest, because they made it difficult for him, because there was only three people that could stand him, Mythril would face complete and utter annihilation. The witch had gotten too strong, Caelan had reached the age of 14 before he was able to face her. The battle ended poorly, as you already know. Caelan was defeated, then revived, then defeated once more. He will be revived again, but his allegiances will change, and not because he had a choice, but because he will be forced to. The witch will rise, and when she does there will have to be a group of those who have to rebel against her. Whether they choose to forgive Caelan for the decisions he will be forced to make is up to them. Let us see if prejudice is still something that most people have ingrained inside them. The time has come for your stories to become entwined with Caelan’s. Let us hope it comes to a better end.

Skill #2: Ghost Claw
By making a slashing gesture with her hand, she can send out a long-ranged remote claw attack at an enemy that at critical hits deals bleeding. Has more effect on summons, dealing more damage and a critical hit resulting in instakill no matter it's size. Basically a smite, having a 2 post cooldown normally, only 1 in case of critical hit.

Personality: Serara can be quite stoic, if you ask me, and if you ask her she would say "it is necessary to survive". She is usually cold, harsh and mean, critisising people, but not to make them feel bad, even if she sometimes comes forward as a bitch, but more like to help them improve. Serara is quite secretive and reserved, only talking when needed. She is most of the time pulling a serious face, hiding her true intentions and feelings as she deems them "weaknesses", so she is rarely seen smiling...
But god, when she it, it is a sight to behold. If you get her to smile or at least show you a sign of possitive, or at least non-aggresive emotions, it means that she surprisingly trusts you at a certain level. The real her hidden under that hard shell is actually sweet, kind, protective and caring, a really nice girl...

Yet his eyes, demeanour and very being suggest otherwise.

He gives off rather unnerving vibes, and one could perceive that there was even a hint of madness - insanity - behind that vague smile of Kano's. Therefore, he is generally someone you wouldn’t trust, at all. But he never does anything to prove these negative assumptions correct. To other people, it's difficult to tell whether he is just deceiving them or being completely misunderstood.

Skill #1: Dragon's Breath
This is a fire skill that is activated with her fire sword. She swings her sword into one direction which makes a dragon of fire come out of about 4 meters long. It spins completely around her and will basically shread anything that comes close to it with superior damage. It also leaves behind a big circle of fire on the ground which when stepped in does above-average damage and it lasts for 3 posts. She can also direct the dragon to go forward in order to make it spin around an enemy which hurts the enemy for exceptional damage. The skill has a 5 post cooldown

Skill #2: Icy Dragon
She makes a fat dragon out of ice which can be used as a big shield with 2 meters in length and it's 2 meters wide. It block any projectile and can take 10 projectiles to it before breaking. It otherwise lasts for 4 posts and has a 7 post cooldown.

Appearance: She is a girl with a slim figure and an average bust. She has long brown hair reaching to her butt. She always wears a light green kimono and 2 shoulder pads. She wears green knee socks and 2 veyr high heeled boots. She also wear a yellow head band and a golden hair ornament. She also has a yellow(right) and red(right) eye with a scar through her right eye



Personality: She is mostly a calm and quiet girl who only speaks when she feels like she needs to do so. However at the moment she pulls her swords out, she becomes a very agressive and serious fighter. She basically goes slightly insane but not like she laughs like a maniac or something like that

Weapon: A scythe. She can also use matches if they are near her or if she has them on her. The scythe does 8% damage. The matches do 4% damage but have a burning affect of 2% for the course of 5 posts.

Skill #1: Walk into the shadows.
When Asami puts on her Reaper hood it makes her translucent with a black tint. This makes her almost look like a shadow. This lasts 2 posts, it turns her invisible but she has to mimic the person she is against or is pretending to be there shadow.

Skill #2: Try and dodge this!
She will shoot chains out in all directions and will reel anything in that gets caught in her chains. This will do 2% damage and will pull them in close to Asami for 3 posts. It will go as far as 5 feet to grab targets. As she only has 2 accuracy there is not a 100% chance she will get her target but there is a good chance, about 60%.

Appearance: She has night black hair and there are little white dots in her hair, she does not know if its normal or not but she quite likes it.


Personality: She is not a typical Reaper: sad and gloomy. She is normally happy and can sometimes get on others nerves. There is another side to her though, when she is angry she tries to be quiet but might not be able to hold it in. She doesn't get sappy, she does not cry those are rules she made for herself, it would only hold her back.

By channeling healing energies, Fate can create a magic circle around him which continually heals allies within its 25m radius. The circle works by having an initial healing rate of 5% of Fate's max HP/ post / person, but is then added with the taken damage of the people within the circle, with 25% of the damage taken by them every post coming back to heal them in the next post, however, Fate can redistribute the damage independently, so for example, 5 people fight, and each takes 20 damage, fate can then take (25% of 20 being 5) 25 HP and heal a single person with it, which if added with the initial standard healing rate, say Fate has 100 max HP, then everyone gets 5HP/post, then the maximum amount of healed HP is 30 HP for a single person.

Heavenly Retribution

Every attack used against Fate will have a 15% rebound damage on the attacker, he can store this accumulated rebound damage and inflict it on an opponent after a maximum of 10 attacks taken, or he could just inflict it immediately. This applies to any attack against him. It's passive except for the storage function. This skill does not decrease damage taken.

When people attacks him, some of the force of their attack will visibly be reflected back onto them.

Her sycthes have a special effect to them where as she hits a certain target 3 prosecutive times it ignored their armor and does superior damage. Her scythes, and also this skill do need some blood however. With this certain skill it takes 25 blood points (will explain later). The effect can't be procced on the same target for 6 posts after being used for the first time and if she hits another person before hitting her original target thrice, it will cancel the effect on the original target

Skill #2: Death's Fangs
She jumps up in the air at a height of around 2 meters and holds her scythes backward. She then throws them forward like fangs basically. They do exceptional damage themselves and do a small explosion around them with above average damage in a radius of 1 by 1 meters. The skill takes 30 blood points and has 4 posts cooldown

Blood points explanation: She has 100/100 blood points. To use her scythe's it already takes 15 blood points and she recovers 10 blood points each post

Every third time that this skill is used on the same target in a single battle, it restores a double the amount of health.

Skill #2: Group Healing
This is a more advanced form of healing. It heals a certain percentage of health of a group of targets. Targets must be close enough to be healed (the same thread). All allied life-forms, both organic and inorganic, can be healed with this spell. However, the maximum amount of targets that can be healed is 10. Nearby enemies will never be healed by group healing. Group Healing takes one post. It has a five post cool-down. This skill its effect is increased by the character her magic level.

Personality: She mostly follows the example of her brother. She too, prefers to stay back and observe things while in battle. However, outside of a battle, she befriends people easier than her brother and she tends to try to take a slightly more active role in helping those that she calls her friends. This is also why her brother normally lets her do all the talking. She is known to be rather curious and has been fond of mixing up random things. This is why she choose priestess as her class and alchemist as her subclass. It allows her to help her friends when needed and sate her curiosity when possible.

Metal Part Bag: Wendy carry with her a bag of spare parts in which she can use to repair, or even build things, mainly, turrets and robots. The bag has a capacity of 100 spare parts, which will be replenished over time when outside of combat or from obtaining more parts. The amount of parts recovered is equal to the Recovery Stat. All parts spent on building can be retrieved if Wendy disassemble her creation, however, upon destruction through other means, a portion of the parts are destroyed and rendered useless.

Skill #1: Gatling Gun Turret
This Turret is a stationary autofire companion that will shoot at the Wendy’s will and at designated targets. Able to track and fire at enemies from a range, the Turret can stick to all solid surfaces that can support its weight. The turret have can rotate in all directions aside from the small angle radius of right down and around the base. The Turret can be remotely detonated for some damage when needing to be dismissed, but will also explode upon destruction. If the turret is detonated or destroyed, so that it explodes, then it some of the parts used for it will be destroyed.

Costs 30 parts to build and a variable amount to repair, which is dependent on the damage.
Only one turret can be active at a time and making it takes one turn, however, there is no cooldown on how often it can be deployed.

Skill #2: The Alphonse: Companion Robot
A robot of the appearance of a mechanical suit of armor that can act on its own, however, require to answer the Technomathurge’s orders. It is a highly durable and quite strong, other than that it is more or less like a regular human with somewhat lower response time. The Alphonse is always active following around like a party member. However, on the chance that it is not active, it can be summoned/built, taking two turns to do so. Only a Technomathurge mechanic will be able to repair the complex clockwork within the heavy suit of armor. It can therefore not be healed by magic, as it requires repairs instead. It can also not receive buffs which a human would receive, and will instead have to rely on weapon/equipment type buffs as “he” is quite literally a weapon. Alphonse is armed with a small mace and a sword, both which will not disappear on “his” destruction.
Alphonse is the name of the AI that Wendy made for the robot, and it acts much like her and Eva’s brother. It is rumored to be the soul of an actual boy inside the suit, but this is merely speculations.

Build cost from scratch is 70 parts, however, the cost is reduced depending on how much is left after complete destruction. Repair (healing Alphonse) cost a variable amount depending on how damaged he is.
Building Alphonse from scratch will demand 2 turns of work, although, after 1 the Robot will be functional, although at half functionality compared to when it is complete.

Could you add cooldown to Skill 1, it seems pretty strong and having no cooldown in it is too much, same goes for Skill 2, immortality with 2 post cooldown is too short, make it around 6 or more

Wendy:
Since your turret has no cooldown and Al neither since he is basically a passive, i'd suggest you to add a part mechanic to your techno, basically you can carry specific amount of parts with you and building turret or repairing/building/summoning Al requires specific amount, this way we can prevent them from being op since you can't do it forever

Do you mean every other turn?

For Wendy, The Robot needs a cooldown limit and some base stats for it as well. Mainly so we can properly know its capabilities.

Skill #1: Profane Language
An efficient skill that utilizes a series of curses and profane language to taunt an enemy while also irritate them or even enrage them. The effect given by this skill cannot be activated manually, but will be used automatically if Eva takes too much damage (below 50% health) or gets infuriated for any reason (taunted by an enemy). When under this effect she gets stronger and faster while also more greatly increasing resistant to damage. The effect will stay active as long as there is a target to fight/in combat when the health is below 50%. If taunted, the effect will stay for the duration of Eva’s turn afterward, she may still be angry afterwards, but the stats are not increased. The two ways of activating this skill do not stack with one another.

Appearance:

Personality: A little girl with a foul mouth that has a tendency to end up scantily clothed and loves her drinks. Easily pissed off and despise any miniscule hindrance and everything that might have her sway from her path. She has no respect for authority, age, nor fame, as she will simple greet everyone the same. As easily it is to piss her off, it is ill advised to be directly rude to her, or even implied rudeness for that matter, as she may or may not need her sister to keep her from starting a fight at every possible opportunity. The only person she is not rude towards is her sister Wendy, although, she may eventually stop calling you names if you get on her good side. She has no problem with holding a grudge, nor loathing and hostility for that matter.

Skill #1: Sacrificial Blood- Any time an enemy does more than 5% of damage to the berserker with one attack, the blood from the wounds soils the attackers clothes and skin. Each 5% is a blood stack. After an attacker has earned 1 or more blood stacks, the berserker can claim sacrificial blood and burn the target where the blood is touching for damage. MUST BE PHYSICAL ATTACKS.

Skill #2: Strategic Rend- Throughout the course of the berserker's life, he has maimed and killed many fellow warriors. He has experienced almost all wounds possible whether given to others or recieved, and thus he understands the effect of every attack on the body. This skill gives the berserker the ability to strategically maim or kill by targeting certain parts of the enemy body.

Personality: Amadeus is shy. That's right, he's shy when it comes to meeting new people, but once you get to know him he really opens up....your skull. He trusts few and hates arrogance. He does cooperate with those that he trusts and will often be incredibly loyal to those he respects. Even though he has lived a life of pain and death, he also has a sensitive side. He writes poetry (mostly about denial) and is starting a novel series.

Bio: (GENERAL, DETAILS LATER) Born in a slum, Amadeus struggled for life from the beginning. He was 7 when he first killed a man to protect his brother. He lived in a broken wagon bed cast into an alleyway. Even as a young boy, he enjoyed literature, teaching himself and his brother to read and write. His brother, Daedelus, was skinny and agile with long blonde locks. Naturally, Daedelus was the theif. Amadeus was the muscle, born with broad shoulders and thick bones, he took the burdens of battle daily. One day, when Amadeus and Daedelus were 16 and 12, respectfully, the city guards caught Daedelus stealing water from the merchants' private well. Amadeus found him one week later with bleeding stubs where his hands had been chopped off. The wounds, though exstensive were mildly repaired as they had cauterized the vessels to stop the bleeding. Unfortunately, infection and necrosis had begun to send Daedelus into toxic shock. When Amadeus tried to comfort him, he became delusional, screaming and flailing as he cried for mercy. Slowly, over the next few days, Daedelus breathed his last and was silent. That night with a sharped stick and his brother's femur, Amadeus murdered the guards on patrol and pilliaged their homes. Though their families were in the homes, he did not touch them. As the sun began to rise over the horizon he entered the last home; the home of the man who had maimed his brother. The man was known as the Tower because of the large irregular sword he carried. The Tower had a reputation of cruel treatment of the poorer of citizens, and most of the population feared him. As he entered he noticed, that the house smelled of blood and bowels. Slowly he transversed the room to find the Tower slain along with his mistress and bastard son all at the table. Furious, Amadeus searched for the irregular weapon, finding it beneath the bed, and decapitated the Tower's corpse. Turning around, Amadeus saw the morning patrol guards standing at the door, weapons raised, ready to fight for heir dead brethren. Jumping through the window, Amadeus vanished into the crowd planing to leave the city to find his fate elswhere. SKIP 2 Years. After two years with a viking raiding party, Amadeus had been through skirmish and skirmish almost daily, killing countless villiagers and warriors. His reputation with his adoptive clan was as the Bleeding Berserker due to his ability to sustain heavy damage yet fight as if nothing were wrong. He raided what they told him to, killed who they wanted dead, and stole what they needed for power, all the while searching for the person who stole his revenge from him. In the midst of one particularly difficult battle, the ship he was on was set on fire, far from the coast and he was lost overboard doomed to drown at sea. He awoke along a craching cliffside and pulled himself onto the rocks, grasping his sword with relief. Gazing into the distance he saw a new land, ready to be discovered.

Lycanthropy
When Gen’s health dips below 25%, her body becomes too weak to contain her inner wolf. Painfully transforming into a lycanthrope, Gen unleashes a bellowing roar that inflicts fear on nearby targets (Targets under the influence of fear will not target Gen so long as there are other allies for them to attack.) and enters a fit of frenzy.

Gen gains +5 to her strength and damage resistance and her attacks restore health to her equal to half of the damage she deals. However, her speed, recovery, agility, accuracy and magic stats are all reduced to zero for the duration of this ability. This state lasts either six turns or until her health reaches 50%.

Another drawback of this power is that in this state Gen loses all forms of intelligence and memory, and will attack anyone who raises a weapon to her, be they friend or foe. This also means that she will be incapable of trap detection, employing tactics or understanding situations beyond ‘attack’.

Skill #2:
Parry
This skill allows Gen to block any non-skill physical attack and counter swiftly, dealing back 2x the damage that would have been dealt to her. In addition this parry is followed up by a swift uppercut and side strike to the target's jaw, inflicting a stun and discombobulation effect that prevents the user from moving until they are hit again. This skill has a 3 turn cooldown effect, however the stun effect does not apply if the target has already been stunned in the same fight.

Personality:
Due to her affliction, Gen neither experiences or displays many emotions, and is constantly plagued by hallucinations, delusions, and the sporadic appearance of two manifestations of her DID, Id and Superego, aptly named after the facets of Sigmund Freud’s model of the psyche.

Id demands immediate satisfaction and is uninfluenced by logic, rationale, reality and reason. It embodies what Gen wants and operates on her pleasure principle; it works under the guidance of all the inherited aspects of personality. It advises and attempts to influence Gen into performing selfish acts that sate her own demands with complete disregard for anything or anyone.

Superego, the foil to igo, is concerned only with the rules and moral values of society, informing Gen of what she ‘should’ do in every situation. This facet of Gen operates with the conscience and ideal self in mind and attempts to guide Gen down a moral path.

Beneath the hate, the sadness, and the misery lies a reminder of what might have been. A pure heart dedicated to what's just. Incorruptible, her altruistic will is a beacon that shines brightly even in the depths of her mind. It is and always will be her cardinal trait; the quality that she will be remembered by. For her audacious devotion to doing good no matter the cost will certainly be her undoing.

Genevieve values life and freedom above all else, and despises those who would deprive others of them. This does not, however extend to her own life, which she is willing to throw away whimsically. She is not afraid to work beyond the law if it means that she is either doing general good or it is for the sake of the law’s benefit. She is neither vengeful nor vindictive… but she will stop at no lengths to correct injustice. She will always work within the law… until it stops her from doing good. She values all life… but will not hesitate to take it when either her life is in mortal danger or it will be a murder in the name of overall good, which she values about all else.

As aforementioned, Genevieve's mind is a dark, desolate pit of despair. This means she is a truly and utterly broken individual. Depression and anxiety dominate her life. Which is ironic considering how anxiety means you care too much about everything, and depression denotes an inability to care about anything.

Her disorder leaves Genevieve in quite an unfortunate location: hell. She has, in many ways, become a ghost to the world. Something that can be seen, something pretty to look at… but that’s it. That’s all there is to her.

She can’t even remember the last time she smiled. Of course it would have been a time when her mother was still alive but her memory has been so defiled by melancholy that she can barely remember particular events. All days to her are the same, and they fade into existence with the same dull glint that they fleet with.

She despises Id for trying to make her forsake her altruism, and hates superego for trying to force her to adhere to rules and impede on her personal freedoms.

Polypsychosis is a rare (fictional) congenital mental disorder characterized by extreme socially impairing symptoms. Treatment of this disease is a very difficult as her lycan blood prevents her from being affected by magical treatment. While the physical symptoms are limited to pale skin and purple irises, there are a wealth of positive and negative mental symptoms of this disease. They are as follows:

This ability will allow her (and her clothes, weapons etc.) to pass through all physical (swords, walls etc.) and magical (barriers etc.) objects without doing any harm to her. She can’t pass through living things. It also allows her to choose which object she can go through and which not. The skill lasts for two turns and has a cool down of four turns.

Skill #2: A Valkyrie’s Judgement
This ability allows her to increase the amount of damage her attacks deal on enemies (so yeah, I guess it boosts the strength stat?). The damage dealt will equal 150% of the regular damage she’d deal. It’s not fixed to an enemy, all enemies she attacks while having this skill activated will deal 150% damage. This skill lasts for two turns and has a cool down of four turns.

Her nature is an engaging one, but she can be disagreeable at times. She loves to inflict pain on enemies, the battlefield is where she can release her inner demon and urge to destroy. The more challenging her enemies are, the better, cause she loves challenges. Her humor is very mean spirited, she likes to make fun of others. Chess is her favorite game and she really likes acrobatics, singing, dancing, eating and studying biology. She often has the habit of humming and sleeping in odd places.

Skill #1: Project-750: "Quin"
Quin is other one of Seths two robot familiars, she is basically an android, looking and acting like a human.
She has quite energetic and happy go lucky personality. She also happens to like Seth (See Ya Ya from Machine doll).

Quin's fighting style is very aggressive melee type, and could be classified as a DPS Samurai. Quin uses a rapier as a weapon and utilizes speed over strength.

Due to the complex way Quin is built, Seth isn't able to repair her quickly
at all, meaning that once Quin gets destroyed/too damaged to fight, she becomes useless.
The repairing takes about 1 hour to 3 days to fix, depending on how badly Quin is damaged. Complete rebuild takes 1 week.

Harriet is a robot cat, like Quin, it is very lifelike and looks like a normal cat.

Harriet has no combat capabilities at all and just works as a scout/companion to Seth. Even though Harriet has no real way to help Seth in combat at all, it is able to communicate with Seth over small distances in a similar fashion as telepathy.
This ability is what makes Harriet important for Seth as it allows him to scout out the area surrounding him and locate any hiding opponents.

Repairing Harriet takes from 1 hour to 3 days depending on how badly she is damaged. Full rebuild takes 5 days.
