| Hello, I'm clampfan72485 and I'm new to this site. After visiting it for a few months I decided to join this past week. Now, I've been watching anime since I've been in middle school but did not become a full on fan until high school. So because of my faulty memory , I'll only be keeping track of anime I recently watched as I've seen a lot over the years I've been watching. Speaking of recent anime, (I'm hoping it's not against the rules to ask this question in my introduction thread) I had a question about the Fate/stay series. I know Fate/Zero is a prequel and Unlimited Bladeworks is a retelling/reworking/remake of the original Fate/Stay night but if I was interested in watching them, is there a particular order I should watch them in or not? |

| Welcome to MAL, it's nice to meet you~ I'm Shun and I hope to see you around forums ^^ As for your question about Fate, I'd recommend watching Fate/Zero first before watching Unlimited Bladeworks if you're planning on watching only those two series. I believe you would be confused at some parts in UBW if you don't watch Fate/Zero first since there are some references. Since Unlimited Bladeworks is also a remake/alternate route for Fate/Stay Night, you could always watch the original Fate/Stay Night before the two series altogether. That's what I did. Although the animation is "crap," I still enjoyed the story with Saber's route compared to Rin's route. This series is not necessary for the other two mentioned above as most people will say. |

| Thanks for all the welcomes and thanks for the information about the Fate/Stay series. What I'll probably do is finish Shamanic Princess today and watch Fate/Zero and then eventually watch Fate/Stay Night UBW. I'm currently watching Ayashi no Ceres and Captain Earth. |
