The Zenkan Dokuha used books section of the Rakuten online store reports that Karuho Shiina's Kimi ni Todoke shōjo manga will be adapted into a drama project this April. This report has not been corroborated by an official source yet. Zenkan Dokuha specializes in selling complete series sets of used manga, and it lists "media mix" (media tie-in) information for the various titles in its collection. The manga has been running in Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret magazine since 2005, and eight compiled volumes have been published. According to the distributor Simon & Schuster, Viz Media is planning to launch this romantic comedy manga in North America this July. The manga was nominated for the first ever Manga Taisho Awards last January, and it won the Best Shōjo Manga award in the 32nd Annual Kodansha Manga Awards last spring.

There are various rumours going around:
1) Either Yamapi or Matsumoto Jun will take on the role of Kazehaya
2) Aragaki Yui will take on the role of Sawako
3) It may be a TBS Friday Drama..

Can't wait for official news about this!!
