Create your Vampire Character here! This will require some skill from the RPer and quite the ability to create and write. Everything will be analyzed, including grammatical mistakes, so take your time and pay attention. Note: Only invited RPers can create important characters. If the roles aren't filled until the event starts, I'll fill them myself with NPCs. The roles are:
Invited RPers:

Name: Caelan DuCharme Age: 295 Class of Society: Council Member Your side: Council Strengths: - Blood Sacrament, Blood Sacrament is a dark magic passed down through the DuCharme family. It allows one to turn into a feral vampire, a feral vampire has extremely large jagged fangs, powerful hind legs and extremely tough skin that serves as an armor. To turn into this form, one must spill their own blood from the wrist. - Intelligent, Due to his long life, his intelligence levels are very advanced. He tends to formulate and create plots as he goes and is a mastermind at solving puzzles, doing mathematical equations or anything of the like. - Influential, Being on the council and being the head of one of the top Vampire Noble families, comes with its merits. He is very influential among the vampire community and tends to get what he wants. - Vampiric powers, As a result of being a Vampire, he has inhuman strength and long life. He can also use his fangs as a weapon by biting and draining a human of blood. - Patience, Patience is something that Caelan has aplenty and is the reason he has a reluctant disposition on going to war, this virtue comes in handy in many ways. For example, he doesn't get agitated easily and stays calm most of the time. Weaknesses: (Must have 2) - Poison, Is extremely vulnerable to poisons, if one is used on him, its effects are nearly tenfold its desired result. This is due to a small deficiency when he was born. - Benevolent Magic, As a result of his Blood Sacrament power, magics that are of a benevolent kind are very effective against him, both in normal and feral form. Personality: Calm, regal, patient, intimidating at times, a natural leader. Does not lose his cool very easily and tends to be quite passive. He usually has a bored expression on his face, but it is really just because he is serious all the time and has never been known to laugh or even chuckle. Bio: Caelan DuCharme is a vampire of the noble families. As a baby, he never cried and was quite emotionless. His father was very similar to this and was pleased that his son was the same. As he grew, it was quickly evident that he was a natural born genius as he would solve many of the family treasury problems and thus helped in finical matters. Due to this, many in the family saw him as the head and not his father, his father did not take kindly to this and formulated a plot to strike Caelan down. Caelan however knew of his fathers envy and his plot before it was initiated, he set up counterattacking plans that would strike against his fathers. His father died as a result of this and his mother quickly followed suit, he thus took over as head of the family and joined the council. Picture: Normal: Feral Form: |

Name: Alistair Du Coudray Age: ??? Class of Society: Elder One Your side: Elder One Strengths: -Elder Vampiric Abilities- Possesses all the natural abilities of a vampire, albeit a bit more powerful due to his capabilities having had time to mature and grow. This as well includes an enhanced regenerative ability, though it can be negated by typical entities harmful to vampires, as well do these objects disregard his normal durability. -Enduring to the Sun- Though he is still greatly affected, Alistair is capable of moving in broad daylight without too much of a hindrance. Though it is necessary for him to cover up, which is the reasoning behind his trademark coat, gloves, glasses and hat. His physical prowess remains, albeit very much weakened to hardly above average and he becomes mortally vulnerable to normal weaponry. -Knack for Manipulation- Alistair's mind is quite brilliant, especially when it comes to persuasion, deception and manipulation. He often created conflicts among mortals for his own amusement in his younger years... it is unfortunate he mainly uses this intellect for his own whimsical behavior rather than when it is truly necessary. Weaknesses: -Arrogance- Alistair’s arrogance is one of his most easily distinguishable weaknesses. Due to the fact that he thinks of most others as lower than himself, it is quite easy for him to be surprised when his opponents show a bit of spunk and power. He also feels that, because of how superior he is, he doesn’t have to use his full capabilities or power, even when he likely should. -Whimsicality- Alistair does most things based upon a whim, disregarding matters of his loved ones, and as such does not take many matters seriously. Meaning he will often treat important matters as childsplay and is more likely to make sarcastic remarks than contribute to strategic planning. While tactical, Alistair rarely sees the point in using head. Personality: There are so many parts and sides to the one known as Alistair, many have given up on trying to understand him. Arrogance is a trait that comes with many vampire’s of high class, Alistair is no exception. Typically very cocky and even undermining towards those around him, Alistair obviously thinks highly of himself and much lower of others with very few exceptions. This is as he believes that, due to his age, while other of his kind rank themselves with status and pure blood, he remains at a higher rank in experience and knowledge, which takes a much higher importance, at least in his mind. This, often paired with his intelligence, enjoyment for manipulation and pleasure gained from violence make him quite dangerous. Though it can be noted he has grown much tired of such conflict and only acquires interest in abnormal squabbles, violence and people, rather than blatant wars for example. Though this bloodlust has increased since the deaths of his wife and child and burning of his village. Though, there are exceptions to this arrogant and somewhat evil side. The first was his mortal wife, whom he seemingly regards even higher than himself at times. The second is his believed-to-be lost daughter Ellen. It is unfortunate that both of them are supposedly gone, there are none to reveal that… not-so-aggravating side of Alistair. Another side of him, however, is more rarely seen; his serious side. Alistair can become serious, though many refuse to believe it. It is typically only when something of importance is on the line. An example would be his current pleas to the council to war with the humans. He becomes stoic, cold and blatant. He as well becomes less tolerant and more willing to resort to violence and lethal means… not that he isn’t normally, however he becomes much more ruthless when it comes to completing his objectives. Bio: Alistair is a true enigma among his kind. While most fall into some sort of social class and duty, the one known as the Elder One is said to have spent most his life whimsically doing as he pleased. He would vanish in one place, reappear in another. He seemed almost addicted to causing some sort of trouble wherever he went, typically in mortal cities. Alistair would often integrate himself into the population and wreak havoc from within. He’s even said to have been the indirect cause of several old-world wars and large conflicts… to which he will not necessarily deny if asked, though his vague responses paired with his natural sarcasm and toying nature make it difficult to interpret it as truth or otherwise. This goes his stories as well that you can’t tell if they be fantasy or reality… Regardless, while it is known he moved around from area to area, likely due to his former interest in mortals, details of his exploits remain null. There were and are rumors, of course, however nothing was ever written in stone with him. This obviously showcased his skill, as he probably allowed just enough evidence for him to be suspected yet not enough to condemn him of his actions. Soon, however… the rumors began to slow, as did his movement and any conflict in where he went remained small or didn’t seem likely to have been caused by him. It was almost as if… the whimsical Alistair was growing bored with his own affairs. After a while he just… disappeared; vanished without a trace. Until he was found again, or rather, allowed himself to be found. Alistair had… settled down. The eldest vampire had ceased with his troublemaking and settled in a small village with a wife… a human one even. He lived there and contributed to the community, worked to support his family, what he could at night since the day wasn’t exactly ideal, and the woman even yielded him a little girl as a child. The once mischievous Alistair seemed to have matured and be content with this simple life… Unfortunately, this peaceful life didn’t last long. Conquest-thirsty humans advanced upon and razed the village in a blitzkrieg. Though Alistair attempted to, he found himself unable to protect his family well enough. He thought dealing with the humans and sending them away was enough… He was wrong, and was unable to pursue as the flames had practically encased the area in which he engaged the humans. Believing his family to be dead, the Elder had returned to his former persona. Bloodthirsty once again and now with a vengeance, Alistair returns to his kin in an attempt to bring retribution upon the humans that had taken away the family he acquired. Name: Klause Von Krull Age: 376 (24) Class of Society: Council Your side: Council Strengths: Mechanical Genius: Klause has long spent much of his time working on man and machines, because of this and his near fanatical devotion to both studies he has invented more inventions that he can even remember, a favorite seems to be mechanical clocks. Medical prodigy: Klause has long spent his time working on man and machines, Klaus with study has made numerous medications, and treatment studies, as well as wrote a book that purely talks about how to break a mans bones, mend them, then break them again all for questioning, as well as torture. Given he forgot where he put the documentation, this information is (thankfully) lost to time. Swash Buckler: Klause earned his spot in part given his inventions and studies, but as he is an infamous raider, able to orginize and direct raids, while being a great fighter with his cutlass, specializing in close quartes and shipboard battles, his random apperances from the mist have made him into a folk tale monster on the mainland. Though he doesn't seem adapt at leading a large scale force that has to stay in a pitched battle. Vampire Powers: The usual you know, speed, strength, what rings you got bitch? Enhanced Regeneration: Klause when turned, had a strange human illness that constantly broke down his body cells, his vamperic blood over time led this power developing past the norm to cope with his sickness. Though it seems to have caused instabilities with his mind in some respects. Artist: While some of his peices are questionable, such as painting birds on a wall with the blood of others, Klause is a renowned artist with some of his peices under various names in museums on the mainland, be it statues, paintings, or children toys. His styles seem to be random and differing enough that no one has pieced that they all were made by one man, together yet. Weaknesses: Short Term memory loss: Minus key details Klause constantly forgets small things, like what (or who) he had for breakfast, how long a prisoner has been left in a cell, what appointments he had to keep. What day it was..just the small things..thats what assistants are for right? Remembers people, plans and most day to day things. So he's not totally helpless, or hopeless. Sociopath: Klause while against a war with the humans purely on the grounds of his own personal interests generally has no care on things like the "Thoughts" and "opinions" of others. If not for his generous pay and frightening power, only other sociopaths and psychopaths could stand to be around him. Given this he isn't a very reliable ally. Personality: Mad Scientist and Pirate would suit him rather well in terms of discription, while he doesn't want war with the humans or the dwarven kind, he seems to hate the elves..mostly as they invent nothing useful to study and are too frail to study. Generally it can be said he's a scary person, albit one that rewards those under him well..insulting his art however can lead to a quick death. Other than that he doesn't seem to feed pointlessly, nor to raid without cause. More as time went on his trades were simple, ideas for ideas, goods for..well test subjects. His only drive in life is to build and create, to crush and break, and learn all there is. Oddly for a vampire, short of his thralls or assitants, he does keep some humans around to assit in his tasks, finding them more reliable and quick thinking than the undead. Bio:Klause is a turned human. Orginally his life was just that of a poor Arzlan Fisherman turned Pirate, raiding the coastlines, with no family the Young Klause soon found himself with a strange illness that according to medicinemen, wizards and doctors was eating him from the inside out..or rather killing his cells as one wizard put it. Not one to remember such important things as death and dying Klause decided to take his ship out alone for one final raid, by chance on a foggy night he came across a ship with a woman with Crimson eyes. Stopping his ship alongside hers the pair began to talk, learning of her broken compass the deranged Klause was all but too happy to fix the device for her, and not only that but improve upon it. Being able to sense this man was dying, and finding him to be truely amussing, she gave him an unexpected offer, if he were to lay with her, and to allow her to bite into his neck she would tell him of an island that would hold many more adventures for him. Klause agreeing to this terms soon found fangs pierced into his neck and all that happend there after a haze. Not even knowing or remembering the womans name, he awoke on the island that was mentioned, finding it to be the home of vampires..with his brutal antics, and mechanical skill, he bit by bit climbed the ladder of society. Having spoaradic contact with the humans, and having helped them as much as they were of use to him, he finds himself serving a King he sees as a short sighted fool who would be best killed..how dare that man disrupt his studies for something stupid like a genocidal war...why if they did that who would be left to have fun with? WIP Name: Blair Age: [Will add in once I know how old the king is] Class of Society: Queen Your side: Council Strengths: Weaknesses: Atrophy: Even by human standards Blair is considered physically weak. This was due to her muscles deteriorating significantly following her transformation as one of the many effects of 'Red-Rot'. This is a rare affliction in vampires that affects approximately one in a hundred thousand vampires. There remains no cure for this debilitating disease. Personality: Bio: Picture: |

WIP Name: Gabriel Laland Moineau Age: 600+ Class of Society: King Your side: The Elder One Strengths:
Weaknesses:
Personality: Gabriel was a rather interesting character before becoming the King. During his time as a Dark Templar, he was a man who only thought of the action and the war, usually finding a break of all the blood and sanguine violence in his time in the kingdom. However, he suffered a severe change of personality after two happenings. The first was after meeting Blair and turning her and the second was after he became King. Though his personality remains mostly the same one of a militaristic man with a lot of experience and a lot to prove, he has changed into different kinds of kindness over the time. The first was to kindness to his partners, the Dark Templars. The second was the kindness to his wife, which still remains even as of today. The final and the issuing one is the kindness to his people, which he believes to be mostly the nobility. Gabriel has, through the centuries, changed his personality to focus on these people. During his time as a Dark Templar, he would do anything to save a partner and a friend. But that changed when he met Blair, whom he promised he would never fail. Due to that, he seems to only care absolutely and respect truly his wife and no one else. However, as time passed, Gabriel grew more and more steady and calm. As this developed, so did his paranoia, which began to grow into a serious problem affecting him. Before he left the Dark Templar role, he made sure to get a lot of connections and friends in order to be aware of what he was stepping into. When he became King, however, it all became even worse. His paranoia worsened to a severe case(which has slowly been fixed and less active) and he became extremely insecure, often finding comfort in his wife's advice. Now, almost five decades after he became the King, his paranoia has already been very sated and is now much less active and severe. He has also been more secure in his decisions and more assertive of his position as King and also much more violent as well. Still, towards his wife, he remains the same kind man he was when he met her. Bio: Gabriel's story is a long one. Beginning during the story of unison of the Arzlan Empire. However, though extremely long and very eventful, his life has had only very few moments that are worth speaking of. The first one was when he originally joined the Dark Templar Order, after a century of training and hard work. There, he made a name for himself as both prized Assassin and Commander of troops. During the glorious times of the Vaffir Kingdom, he was considered a most illustrious member of the Dark Templar Order and also had some influence in the politics, having grown to detest and hate it deeply, specially the bureaucratic part which held him down from doing his own missions. During that time, the man had an unquenchable thirst for violence and death which allowed him to do his job with perfect. All that hunger for blood and battle only led him to dark times where he would even go as far as see his own partners die. After seeing over twenty of his friends die on a single mission, he grew to be far more mature and less direct, learning to understand the fact that direct approaches were not always the best. He also learned to value his partners and friends, to protect them at all costs. Of course, his devotion wasn't as strong as his hunger to seek revenge and kill anyone who got on his way. Gabriel built his fame mostly through the Dark Templar Order's missions, killing and commanding and doing whatever the Vaffir Kingdom ordered. It was a couple of centuries after that, during one exceptional mission in which included the recovery of an Artifact of Blood, revered by the Vaffir Kingdom as a key to the existence of the Vampires. The artifact had been lost for decades until it was recovered by a group of noble humans who owned a mining quarry. Of course, the Artifact had many hidden powers and, as an effect of being held in the hands of humans, it killed dozens of miners before it was contained by a mage(now extinct). Though the humans intended to use the Artifact to unify the Arzlan Empire and to solidify command over Kabulian lands, it was obvious that their objective failed, as the Dark Templar Order took notice of the Artifact and sent a squad to take care of the humans. The order was to obviously kill any humans at sight and to retrieve the artifact so that it would be taken to the safety of the Ebony Castle. Though it was no surprise that Gabriel and the rest emerged victorious and successful on their mission, the surprise was actually found soon after, when Gabriel found one of the secret rooms of the palace. There the man found out the only thing he did not expect: A most sick woman, with a maddened mind and a fragile body. She was young at the time, but it was not doubtful that the woman had not ever left the room she was on. And though the orders were to kill all humans, for a reason not even he knows yet today, Gabriel did not kill that young woman. He had taken an interest in her, and out of pity, he had not killed her. He allowed the woman to live, and led her to follow him. Picture: |

Name: Petrach Heartscale Age: 50 (21) Class of Society: Servant Your side: The Council Strengths: Indomitable Will: He tries his very best at whatever he sets out to do. He works hard so that he'll be praised, but he also fails (on purpose and with gusto) often so that he can be punished. Either way, his stamina is nothing to sneeze at. Very Durable Body: He always secretly liked pain as a human, so it seems his body has adapted to accept punishment. While he is not invincible, he can still take a heavy beating and keep going when some of his weaker brethren would have already quit. All Pain, All Gain: Pain brings him pleasure. It unlocks his inner strength and encourages him to push himself. A pinch is a kiss. An arm twist is a hug. A lash is a pat on the head. He's messed up. Pain doesn't repel him in the slightest. Active Imagination: In his previous life, he was an entertainer, known for wowing his audience with tall tales and humor. His gift of the gab hasn't died, even though his sanity has, so even while he cleans for and diligently serves his masters, he isn't afraid to tell them tales, whether they want them or not. Natural Charisma: With a simple smile, he made maidens' hearts melt. Now, even with a sharp tooth grin, he continues to entice others to listen to his words and at the very least not utterly destroy him and turn him into a stain on the rug. He might not win arguments, but he'll leave his opponents respecting his positive outlook on un-life. Quick Learner: He can open a normal book and breeze through the pages, taking the meaning from and between the lines after first seeing them. He can hear an explanation once and commit it to memory. He can observe the work of those around him and copy their technique with near perfection. When he puts his mind to something, he can usually learn it or at least understand it better than the average Servant. Weaknesses: Fanatical Devotion: When his masters are around, he usually throws caution to the wind and tries to pamper them hand and foot. He willing becomes their footrests and yips for joy at their insults. Even mentioning their names can cause his mind to melt. His instincts guide him when it comes to serving his masters, so much so that what little logic he has seems to disappear. The only thing that he exists for is to serve his master. Non-Violence: He can take the damage, but he can't dish it out. Injuring humans or other vampires is out of the question. He tries to talk things out first and if that doesn't work, he runs away or gets someone else to take care of the belligerent force. Bugs are one thing, but this Servant would rather rest eternally than kill another sentient being himself. Personality: Like a sun, Petrach is overflowing with energy. His becoming a vampire has only made him more thrilled with life and it has also allowed him to live out his masochistic fantasies to the fullest, now that death is no longer on the table. He feels deeply and can hold grudges for long periods, but rarely does he act on them. Instead, he tries to get them to work for him. After all, enemies are another potential source of pleasure for him. He is always smiling and laughing, even if a boot is planted on his forehead or a blade is driven through his hand. Bio: He was originally the son of a mercenary and a prostitute but when asked who his parents were, he simply says, “why the Sultan and his handmaid, of course!”. Since his childhood, he has always loved telling stories and it was only a matter of time before he became a bard of sizable reputation. He never found love, nor did he even lose his virginity during his all too short life, but he did find a purpose: to serve a young girl by the name of Rachel. She was the cutest thing, with blonde twin-tails and a kind of haughty attitude. She seemed to be of noble birth, but he he only seen her at night alone, so he could never tell. During their nights on the town, he'd treat her with his measly earning to whatever she wanted, whether it was beer (he thought that was a bit weird) or new clothes (which she seemed to have an endless supply of). In exchange, she would insult him, berate him, and beat him before kissing him and stroking his head in her lap. One night, as he slept in her lap, she quietly moved her mouth to his ear. Her cold breath made his eyes eyes shoot open, but it was too late. She planted her fangs into his neck, sliced his carotid artery, and thus, a Ghoul was born. From that moment on, he has served her faithfully, even moving back with her to her family in the heart of the Vampire Society. One day, he hopes he can become a worthy slave for her and maybe, just maybe, a husband as well. Picture:[/b] |
