| Aurelia sighed "God Rowen your such a damn buzzkill, no wonder you aint getting anything in the bedroom" |
| [b]Rowen[/b] Rowen turned red in embaressment. [b]"I happen to have standards for the men I allow to court me, that's all. And I haven't seen anyone in your sheets lately either." |
| Aurelia leaned in with a smirk "And who's to say i want MEN in my sheets?" Just doing this to tease and see a reaction, Aurelia blows into Rowen's ear |
| [b]Rowen[/b] Rowen was a bit surprised by Aurelia's teasing, and turned even redder. [b]"W-what do you mean? Are you saying that you are not interested in men? That your interested in women?" |
| Aurelia stood back with a big grin and nodded slowly "Thought you of all people woulda knew that already, im pretty sure the Emperor knows but since he hasnt said anything im guessing hes cool with it" |
| [b]Rowen[/b] Rowen shuddered a bit at the thought. [b]"I'm younger then you though. Wouldn't you want someone a little more your age?" |
| Teasing her all the more She stood a little closer and asked "Why would i want that? Age means nothing if you find that right person right?" |
| [b]Rowen[/b] Rowen was bit confused as to where all of this was going right now. As a result she didn't move a muscle, just got a really confused look on her face. [b]"I-I suppose." |
| "Whats Wrong?" Aurelia questioned placing a hand on Rowen's shoulder "Why do you look so....tense?" |
| [b]Rowen[/b] Rowen was startled a bit by her touch, and jumped a little, which was out of character for her. She seemed a little.... deep in thought. [b]"I-It's a little bit much to take in." |
| "Well you need to relax more, maybe that Will be the thing that lets you find that right person" Aurelia said and finally stood back. |
| [b]Rowen[/b] Rowen sighed in relief. [b]"Sure, relax. I'm the captain of the royal guard, I don't have time to relax." |
| "And im the Emperor's Hand, yet dont see me all tense constantly do you?" She asks |
| [b]Rowen[/b] Rowen laughed harshly. [b]"You don't have to constantly worry about assassination attempts when you leave a room do you?" |
| "Course not, but my point still stands, no matter who you are you gotta make time for yourself, like when everyone is asleep like now, dont you get it? you need to Relax Rowen or your never gonna get that special person, then again they'd have to be REAL special to deal with you hahaha" Aurelia laughed deeply. |
| [b]Rowen[/b] Rowen shook her head. [b]"No, I don't even get to stop worrying even now. What if someone tried to slit the throat of the Emperor while he slumbered so peacefully, or stick a knife in the ribs of the princess? I don't get time to rest. I was raised to do this job, and I will most likely die doing it." |
| Aurelia sighed deeply and looked down at the floor "Well cant blame a girl for trying, Fine do what you want im never gonna get through to you and see sense." |
| [b]Rowen[/b] Rowen was a little bit shocked at the reaction that Aurelia displayed. She felt a little bit guilty now for not at least trying what Aurelia suggested. She let out and exasperated sigh. [b]"Fine, i'll take little bit of time for myself. What do you suggest I do?" |
| "I suggest you take time for yourself when you get the chance, do something nice i dunno, what do you even find nice?" |
| [b]Rowen[/b] Rowen scratched her head. [b]"I-I dunno I guess. I've never taken time to myself before...." |
| Sighing Once more Aurelia suggest "Then why not go for a walk? around the gardens? maybe ask someone for a walk around? you know try and be romantic or i dunno read a book or two?" She suggested not really knowing much about Rowen in reality. |
| [b]Rowen[/b] Rowen shrugged a bit. "I suppose I could go to a tavern for a drink. That might be nice... hmm....." |
| "See! theres something that you can do! Hey maybe you'll see a hot guy and end up intoxicated in his room at the inn" Aurelia nudged her playfully with a smirk |
| [b]Rowen[/b] Rowen sighed. "Maybe, but only if he treats women as equals, and not beneath him." She walked to the entrance to the hallway. [b]"Well... I suppose the dress i'm wearing will do... I'm off then. I'll see you later, unless you want to accompany me." |
| Catching up to Rowen she nodded "Sure, I aint got anything better to do and i dont wanna head back to my empty room yet " |
| [b]Rowen[/b] She sighed again in relief. "Good, I was worried i'd have to go by myself." She started walking out the door. "I think I know a place where they serve good drinks. Haven't been there in a while though. Last time it was because the king needed a drink that wasn't in the castle." She walked out the door. (Next post in that tavern thread.) |
| Emperor Althalos Benedict He steps outside his room, the two royal guards falling in behind him. He then walks down the hallway towards his daughters room, he nods to the two royal guards outside it and knocks on the door, not getting an answer he peeks inside. He sees his daughters bed is empty and he looks at the guards, Where is she? The royal guards look about as confused as Althalos, We do not know you highness, we thought she was inside, one of them says. Altalos thinks for a second, maybe the prince knew where she was. He hurriedly walks down the halls and find his way to the princes room, he opens the door and looks inside. |
| [b]Rowen[/b] Rowen rushed down the hallway and outside the Emperor's door. She was late and had a splitting headache, but with any luck he would be there. She peeked her head in, and noticed he wasn't, then checked the princess's room again with a negative. Finally she too walked down to the guest bedrooms, and saw the king standing in the door way. |
| Lirael walked out of the prince's room shortly after once she had collected herself. "I shall see you in the throne room" She told him before quickly slipping down the hallway like a cat on the prowl. If anybody noticed her they all turned a blind eye |
| Prince Willas Elendere Willas nodded to her and watched her go, now that he thought about it, she wasn't as bad as he originally thought. He sighs and walks towards the throne room, his ponytail swaying behind him as he did so. |
