How Arzla is run

Arzla has a council that advises the King what to do and inform him on what is happening in his kingdom as well as any moves that the Kubalians are making in the ongoing war. The council consists of the following people:
- Emperor Benedict
- Empress Benedict
- Master of Spies
- Kings hand
- Captain of the Royal Guard
- Commander of the City Watch

Important people

- Emperor Althalos Benedict (Is the Emperor of Arzla and has the final say in what happens.)

- Empress Aria Benedict (Is the wife of Emperor Benedict and they have a love filled relationship. She obviously commands a lot of power and if the Emperor is unable to, she will make the decisions.)

- Rubel Whyte, Master of Spies (Is in charge of the spies and reports directly to the Emperor. The Master of Spies is also secretly the Blood Pope, no one knows this though and they guard the secret with their life)

- Auriela Giselle, Kings Hand (Is the most trusted adviser to the Emperor, acts as secretary and helps to rule Arzla while the Emperor is unable to, she does this along with the Empress)

- Rowen Alridian, Captain of Royal Guard (Is the Captain to the personal bodyguards of the Emperor and his family, the Royal Guard. The Royal Guard consists of six members, including the Captain. NOTE: That the Royal Guard, apart from the Captain, are all NPC characters)

- Rowan Bruylant, Commander of City Watch (The commander of the City Watch, has complete authority next to the Emperor over the City Watch but does NOT have authority over the army)

- Princess Lirael Benedict (Daughter to Emperor and Empress Benedict. Is the only heir to the throne.)

- Merek, The Blood Pope (This person is the leader of the assassin guild, Blood Reverence, he controls and makes the decisions of this organization)

Classes
The society of Arzla follows the system of Classes. The Classes are separated into 4 different sections. Class advancement is possible, if you prove your courage on the battlefield you will be knighted. This will boost you from Working Class to Merchant Class. You cannot however, become Nobility from Merchant Class.

- Nobility Nobility is the Emperor and his relatives. They are the richest people in the whole of Arzla.

- Merchants The Wealthy Class consists of all the Lords and Ladies of Arzla. They are members or leaders of the rich and important families. These are very rich men and women, they live in the wealthier parts of the City, closest to the Castle Wall.

- ArmyThe army consists of Working Class men and women who seek adventure and battle. They sleep in the barracks of the Castle but are free to roam the city at day, if they don’t get too drunk…

- Working Class The working class are the commoners of Arzla. They make up the bulk of the Arzlanian Empire. The people in this class range from Blacksmiths to Assassins in the “Blood Reverence” guild. (The people in the Working Class are more passive and do not partake in wars).

City Watch
The City Watch are paid wages to keep the Cities peace, they are like the Medieval Police Force. They are the ones that resolve fights and conflict between residents of the City, they are controlled by the Emperor first and the Commander of the City Watch second. This is to ensure that any usurpers cannot gain control of them. The Commander is the one that runs it most of the time and controls the shifts and routes that the men take. The City Watch can normally be seen walking in groups of six through the City streets.

Blood Reverence
The Blood Reverence is an illegal organization that resides underneath the slums of the City. They are worshipers of “Blood” as an Idol, they believe that she is God and they preform sacrifices to her for payment. They live in a temple that is dedicated to her.

Kabul

How Kabul is run

Kabul is run by the Sultan, although they also has a similar system to the Arzlanians. The council of Kabul is called the “Circle of Sages”. The Sultan has direct and complete control over Kabul but the Circle of Sages advise him on his decisions. The Circle of Sages consist of the following people:
- Sultan
- Military Czar
- Head of Whispers
- Arch Priest
- Grand Vizier

Note: The Sultan does not have a Queen, instead he has a harem that consists of beautiful concubines. His first born son is the one that becomes the next Sultan.

Important people

- Sultan, Hasan Kashime (Is the ruler of Kabul)

- Military Czar, {Name TBD} (Commands the Armies of Kabul, much like the General of Arzla)

- Head of Whispers, Wakazaki Itami (Controls the spies and reports directly to the Sultan)

- Arch Priest, Amon Tutamousus Allias Saint Amon, Holy Father Amon (Is the Priest that leads the worship of the Sand gods. Has control over a 500 warrior group named the “Brotherhood of Sand”)

- Head Vizier, {Name TBD} (Is the leader of the Merchant and Nobility, he makes sure that order is always kept between them)

- Captain of the Sultansworn, {Name TBD} (Is the commander of the Sultansworn that preserves the peace within the City)

- First born, Tanin Kashime Kabul (Is the first born son of the Sultan, he is heir to the throne)

Classes
The kingdom of Kubal follows the system of Classes. The Classes are separated into 4 different sections. - Working Class The working class are the commoners of Kubal. They make up the bulk of the Kubalian Empire. The people in this class range from Blacksmiths to Loggers and all in between. (Again, these are the more passive people and do no partake in wars).

Sultansworn
The Sultansworn are the men and women that keep the peace in the City. They roam the streets in groups of 10 are extremely devout to the numerous sand gods, they do not get paid wages as they do it out of service to these said sand gods. They are an extension of the army but only fight in defense of the city.

Brotherhood of Sand
The Brotherhood of Sand is the religious group of warriors that are under the control of the Arch Priest. They are all trained to excellence and fight in the wars of Kubal if the Arch Priest commands it, which he usually does. They sleep under the Sand Temple, the place of worship to the sand gods.


The Fiefdom of Eqomer

The fiefdom of Eqomer's territory resides within the territory of Arzla. They swore fealty to Emperor Benedict after he surrounded their city walls with his armies. The are in a mutual alliance, these are the terms: Emperor Benedict has sworn not to meddle in their affairs and leave them to their peace if they provided better trade prices, open borders, a gold forfeit and when needed, a force of cavalry to report to the army of Arzla.

Eqomer is a kingdom of Horsemen and Farmers, they are a passive people but fight when forced to.

How Eqomer is run

King Elendere runs his kingdom alongside his Queen. They do not have a council, although King Elendere does have an adviser who helps him decide matters.

Important people

- King Elendere (Is the ruler of Eqomer)
- Queen Elendere (Is wife to King Elendere)
- Prince Willas Elendere (Is the son of King and Queen Elendere. He is the heir to Eqomer's throne)
- Adviser (Is the adviser to the King. Helps him run and manage his fiefdom)

Utopia

Utopia is a passive and holy city. They do not partake in the ongoing war and reside underground, this city is heavily reliant on magic. The Magic School is also in this city, magic users may come here to train and hone their powers, eventually becoming Mages.

How Utopia is run

The Ruler of Utopia is also the Headmaster of the Magic school, he is the most powerful Mage in all of Farem. He is also the only Mage who can use magic that extends away from his body. He runs Utopia as a single ruler, he has no advisers as he is very wise.

Important People

- Headmaster of Magic school/Ruler of Utopia, {NAME TBD} (This person runs the magic school where (NPC) residents of Utopia learn magic and he also runs the affairs of Utopia.)


Note: If you wish to be married, the characters can go to their cities leaders and request to be married. Marriage is available in Arzla, Kubal, Utopia and Eqomer, a thread for the ceremony will be created and the couple getting married will take care of invites.
