I did research and found that there is a confirmed season 2 for this anime and would greatly appreciate if anyone could provide any known details. I have this tweet as proof. https://twitter.com/gar_anime/status/388304035087798272

That tweet is quite old now, and while there were originally plans/hopes for a second season, circumstances (whatever they may be) changed over time, and hence those plans changed as well.

The last news I heard (April 2015) was that the second series is officially cancelled, with the story instead continuing in the form of a light novel. (this might have changed again since then, since it's not something I'm closely following, but I doubt it. Cancelled series rarely, if ever, get un-cancelled once the axe has fallen)
