| Although this questioned was posed a long time ago, for the sake of those in the future with this question who would see this post, I would like to give my suggestion. I would suggest not jumping past the unfinished chapters in ep 7 to ep 8. You will be skipping certain details and the introduction of a new death scenario. Although this new death scenario will be alluded to in ep 8, it is only a quick "snap shot mash up" so you're gonna have questions regarding the why and how behind the massacre in that death scenario. To fully understand the "one truth", you're gonna need info from that death scenario. There is however a way to bridge the gap between these 2 episodes, which is to read the visual novel uploads of ep 7 on youtube, skipping to the point where the manga stopped. Unethical but yeah... Very important! As of now English translations for ep 8 are only up to chapter 34 but the story only ends with chapter 38. Unfortunately there are important details in these untranslated chapters, so I suggest looking up the visual novels or reading this awesome post on tumblr <<jjblue1.tumblr.com/post/71269549699/umineko-solutions-part-3>> by EvilJJLand which will tie up any loose ends. |
