| Out of curiousity, what do you guys think of the Little, Brown version of the novels? Are they doing a good job so far? Or do you prefer the fan-translations? So far, I've only read the Little, Brown versions. (I'm a complete newbie to this... LOL.) I think they're really good... I saw a bit of the fan-translation, and the difference that I noticed was that the official version was more descriptive and had more purple prose. And, I admit it, I actually like the English softcover designs. Discuss! ^^ |

| I think the official translation is much better. I think they are great. I don't mind the softcovers at all, but if I ever bought the books, I'd buy the hardcovers because I really like the character art. |
| I also like the softcover designs. I prefer the official translation because it feels like it's actually gone through professional editors. That's not to say that other translations aren't good -- the base material for the series is awesome enough to allow for some creative diverging here and there. |
