Unfortunately there are way fewer translated otoge than games for guys. If you're into yaoi, I found DMMD and its sequel DMMD re:connect to be pretty decent, though obviously you play as a dude. Some VNs that aren't particularly geared towards either gender are the Ace Attorney series (DS and 3DS) and 999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors (DS). There are also two love simulations I can think of: LoveRevo and Tokimeki Girls' Side 1&2, though I personally don't recommend either of them for their dated artstyles and average "gameplay".

I'd steer clear of mobile VNs, because having to wait a day to play a new chapter (without paying) is balls shitty.
