Laputa is probably his best film, but Howl's Moving Castle would have to be my favorite, since it got me back into anime ^_^

Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke, and Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind are even for my very favorite. The first Miyazaki film i watched was My Neighbor Totoro.

since we're on the topic, check this out: http://www.tokyohive.com/2010/09/favorite-studio-ghibli-animes-ranked/

Porco Rosso, because it was my first Miyazaki movie and it was such a great surprise. . At first I was skeptical like : "An anime movie about a pig that flyes airplanes?" But after I finished watching I was blown away by the beatiful words Miyazaky/Ghibli can create. Man I wishesed I could step in into these magical world.

Mononoke Hime and Spirited away are great movies with wonderfull heroines.

Totoro and Kiki are super cute kids movies.Cagliostro is a really fun Lupan movie .

Nausicca is a great introduction to a really good manga. I found Howl´s just ok and haven´t seen Laputa yet.

I absolutely adore all of these, but I've gotta choose Nausicaa. The movie stuns me every time.

So many, but I'd have to go with either Laputa: Castle in the Sky or Princess Mononoke.
