Argh, you just reminded me that I'm supposed to get mine out this summer. I think have three. But I can hardly feel or see them without the x-rays. But the dentist says that they'll get worse. Gotta make the call someday...

Anyway...I am incredibly hopeless. So much potential anime DVDs for my collection cast aside for Pokemon. But I'm happy. Received today:

http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g317/Asrialys/DiamondPearlBundle.jpg

By the way, that DS I already had since October. Just thought I'd add it to the pic.

As for how much this cost me? I'd rather not say...

Well, the DS Lite there cost almost twice as much as that bundle. Also, the price is easy to figure out (excluding shipping and tax) if you know where to look ^_^'

I am most definitely not a rich person. I just don't know how to control my spending habits...

I think the only reason this game has become more popular is because you can trade and battle people wirelessly. Because it was really annoying when you need to take out a cord hoping that it would connect and most of the time no one had a link cable at the time. Yea, I see a brighter future for the Pokemon games.

Well, it's for DS, so it'd be physically impossible to use a cord. And if you're also talking about Wi-Fi, then it still would have been greatly popular without it. Although, people would be disappointed.

But now pokemon is even more popular because of the DS. Since the DS is easier to use and it doesn't require any batteries or cords, of course games like Pokemon will get popular. Yes, Pokemon has many fans, but don't forget many of them are children. But now that there is this new pokemon game it's made a come back with many old fans (Fans that gave up on the Pokemon crazy and moved on). The Pokemon Boom is what helped create this new generation of anime fans, and now it's gonna make even more again.

I chose the water penguin thingy :P but since then I've got all 3 starters.. traded over wi-fi to get the grass guy and my friend just traded me the fire monkey last night over wireless and then restarted the game (He was only like 20 minutes in?) . I'm probabaly only going to use the Water and Fire one though.. never been a fan of the grass ones but I'll keep him around for now because he knows cut :P

Yeah, I've got this Dark/Electric cat (Is it just me or are these names getting more complicated.. I can't remember any of the new ones) at my partys second highest level so I don't think a grass will be necessary for water :)

I, myself, am not a great fan of Grass types. Nevertheless, I started with Turtwig. Torterra may be useful against Electric types. Unfortunately, its type combo doesn't help with its weaknesses. I'll stick with him though. I'll turn him into a beast to be reckoned with. :P

They did things a bit differently with this one concerning Pokemon availability. Not all the new Pokemon are available at first. You need to get the National Dex to get the others. Only 150 Pokemon are available until you get the National Pokedex. All you have to do is see all 150 Pokemon to get the National Dex. After that, find the Pal Park, insert your GBA Pokemon game, and transfer six at a time as many Pokemon into Diamond or Pearl as you want. Of course, you'll have to recatch them in Pal Park (100% capture rate). So with enough time and transferring, you'll be able to get every single Pokemon into Diamond or Pearl. Of course, there are those legendaries that are unavailable without cheating or some special Nintendo event. I believe Darkrai, Shaymin, and Arceus are the three Pokemon that will be unavailable. Unless those with the Japanese version were fortunate enough to execute the glitch perfectly to get Darkrai and Shaymin.

YES! I never really pick the grass pokemon except I was like "why the hell not!"

Usually I start water (sometimes fire).. Except I really hate that fire monkey..

But now I regret it.. I need a strong water pokemon.... my team so far is weak against fire..

I usually pick Fire or Water... it depends on what the thing looks like...

Red = Charmander
Silver = Totodile, actually
Crystal = Cyndaquil
Ruby = Torchic

so apparently, i chose fire more often.

Floatzel. It has pretty good Speed, Attack, and Special Attack. Saved me in the Elite Four in my Japanese Pearl.

There's the odd-looking Dragon-Ground type Gible and its evolutions. Gible can be found in Wayward Cave on the second floor.

I actually just caught that guy today and started to level him up, I'd recommend getting him as well for a Dragon type (Even though I haven't seen much on him), and just in case you get stumped on this second floor business like I did, it's hidden under the bridge, so basically just go up the top wall and walk up and then to the left and repeat until you enter the secret passage.. and you'll find him in there.

:/ It's hard for me to make an actual "quality" team that's diverse because I love my Pokemon too much....

D: Get rid of Gyarados, Golduck or the... penguin thing... D: I can't chooose.

Does anyone ever actually stop using their starter?

Once I beat the game, I either make an Eevee evolution team (+ one Flying) or choose a single type and make a team of that. I'm going to remake my Normal team from Emerald and use it in Wi-Fi ^_^
