| "Yeah yeah, in a bit." Alistair replied. |
| "I dunno, I just want this nice night to last..." |
| Alistair smiled, leaning forward and giving Evangeline a kiss. "You know, when I was lying there in your arms at Joshua's house...I tried...I wanted to call you Angel just one last time; now I can do it whenever I want." |
| "Angel...it sounds so perfect..." |
| Alistair smiled. "Well, i don't know about you, ANGEL, but I think we should retire to bed." He lent closer to her and whispered. "If you know what I mean." |
| Alistair grinned. "Well then, I'll just pay for our drinks. You can meet me outside." He kissed her cheek, making his way to the bar counter to pay. |
| From where she stood, it was easy to see Alistair as he paid and turned around, only to bump into a young woman with long, dark curls and brown eyes. She seemed to say something to him, and he made a confused face. She them seemed to apologize and went on her way. |
| Alistair just kept walking glancing at her briefly as she left before looking back at Evangeline. "Right, ready to go," he said. |
| "I dunno; I think she mistook me for someone.." Alistair replied, shrugging. |
| Alistair smiled. "Okay," he said, kissing her cheek. "Ladies first." |
| Alistair held the door open for her as she left, glancing back briefly before he followed; the dark haired girl was looking at him, but quickly diverted her gaze when he looked at her. Alistair couldn't help but feel bervous as he and Evangeline left. |
