@runec Worked for her in a previous life.
@marklebid You're right. Silly me questioning the show's logic.

How the heck did she even managed too flatten out them big'ol... "loops"?!
I mean, she could have squished it hard but, it would've still overflowed with how enormous it was.

I'm willing to ignore that if she screams "Shinzou!... SASAGEYO!" next episode.
She looked like Armin. Maybe her untold 5th life was on Paradis xD

Episode 8

Rishe begins her time as Lucius the undercover knight training. And when she's not training, she and Arnold go shopping for a wedding ring, and Rishe shows off her appraisal skills knowing that those gemstones are imitations. Afterwards, Arnold calls on Kyle from Coyolles, a place that would be destroyed by war instigated by Arnold, who had came to congratulate on the marriage in advance as he can't attend the wedding. Coyolles is a place that Arnold is keeping watch on. And then there's Lawvine, whose presence is a problem for Rishe as she knows that she's Lucius. Lots of stuff going on as Rishe is doing lots of things, but so is Arnold.

"Like crystal clear ice from a frozen sea in a cold country..." I'm beginning to feel like I'm listening to a romance audiobook. I appreciate that.

It's starting to feel a bit too 'Blush-desu' to me now, honestly. But I'd assume there'll now be rising actions in the next coming episodes so, I'd guess that's about the last time for "cutesy" stuff this season and that we'd get some serious chapters from this point on.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, I've been wondering about that unmentioned 5th loop, and turns out, I just have to pay attention to the OP to know that the story acknowledges it.

I'm picking up some vibes that Prince Arnold is from another world. Until now it was just his very modern reforms that are out of place in this world, but now the engagement ring and the conversation about the ring finger seem like subtle hints to me.

Thankfully her maid figured out it was a date, lol.

Wait, he would recognize her as Lucius? I thought her disguise was suppose to be perfect despite the long, beautiful eyelashes, soft pink lips and slender build. If no one can recognize her as a woman as Lucius why would they recognize her the other way around? I thought all it took was a short haircut and she was miraculously disguised.

Episode 9

Here comes Michel, who taught her in the third time loop to be a scholar. Rishe uses her knowledge as an herbalist to create a potion that he feeds to Kyle, and he shows off her skills. After proving her worth, Michel agrees to teach Rishe moving forward. And then comes the ball where Rishe uses her experience as a thief to find and avoid contact with Lawvine and meet Mihaela. And then Kyle and Arnold enter into negotiations where Kyle tries to lie his way with Coyelle having run low on gems to mine, but it was pretty clear that Kyle had no leverage in this talk and that as things stand, war with Coyelle is inevitable. So after living and dying six times, all of the skills learned from Rishe's past lives come into place as she used her life as a merchant to broker a deal with Kaine, a maid to tidy up their new home, and a knight for that training program, and now she uses her herbalist skill to create a potion for Kyle, scholar to convince Michel to teach her again, and a thief to avoid Lawvine as there's quite a lot she needs to achieve this time around.

Episode 10

Rishe continues her training as Lucius, but while she was able to keep Lawvine in the dark about her true identity after seeing hesitation in her swing, Arnold found out quite easily. Arnold is determined to go to war with Coyelles because if nothing is done, that country will unquestionably collapse on its own. Nevertheless, while he's not exactly pleased of her decision to undergo knight training, he allows her to keep on training. And then Michel's backstory is explained as he lived quite a difficult life. First, his mother died while he was very young, and after learning alchemy and mastering the art so quickly, war broke out and his father was killed. That led him to inventing gunpowder in this world, and he is looking to trade some of that stuff with Arnold. While Rishe realizes the situation, things are still not looking good. Nevertheless, she just needs to make sure Arnold doesn't get his hands on that explosive piece of dust.

Wait, so she just forgot he was a lunatic hellbent on ushering in a new horrible era of warfare that might end up destroying the world? She was happy to see him at first. Did the whole burgeoning war criminal thing just slip her mind until now?

Episode 11

Knowing that the fate of Coyelles is on the line, Rishe is determined to stop Michel from inventing gunpowder, or at least not suppling it to Arnold. So after talking things over between Rishe and Arnold, it's back to the negotiation table as Arnold still has no intention of forming an alliance with Coyelles. While Rishe tries to convince Arnold of the land's metalworking technology that would be a great benefit, he would rather seize it through force knowing that his army can easily crush their's rather than to get it diplomatically. But things took a turn when Theodore comes in and asks Rishe to come out after one of the men tailing Michel was pepper-sprayed and lost track of him. And with Rishe out of the room, Arnold has assembled his men and are about to do something with Kyle. While Rishe knew that this guy was going to be tough to convince, it's a lot tougher than it looks.

I don't know why she has this confidence that somewhere deep down her warlord husband is actually a nice guy.

@runec For real. I'm really not understanding his character at all, and neither is she. I have no idea where we're going and there's only one more.

Episode 12 (Finale)

So Rishe's solution to this is to use the gunpowder to make fireworks so that Michel can repurpose the gunpowder, the poison that Michel told Rishe about during her life as a scholar that can bring happiness, into something to make people happy rather than kill people. After that, Arnold changes his mind about Coyelles and decides to form an alliance, all while Michel will not be pursued as a criminal to not jeopardize their relationship. So with this conflict resolved, the next order of business is the ring as Rishe brings Arnold one, and then Arnold puts it on her finger to fulfill the marriage pact, and Rishe wants to go on a journey with him. That was a great way to resolve the situation as she heeded Michel's words and came up with a solution not to remove gunpowder, but to use it for something else. Seeing that the manga sold like hot cakes after this show came down that there's a good chance for another season, though given the way this show ended there's no big need for it if it doesn't happen.

Final Thoughts

This was a well-thought out show where the whole reincarnation gimmick is well-utilized to establish an intriguing story and an interesting concept. The character relationships were front and center here as they were well-utilized. While the show does a great job with storytelling, just about the only major issue is the fact that it tries to do too many things, and a number of them don't get resolved like the knight training stuff and what became of the prince who dumped Rishe at the start. But in all, it came in with a purpose and accomplishes that.

They're just going to ignore that he planned a terrorist attack that would have killed hundreds?

They never even began to explain why the the prince was supposedly a decent guy, despite all the bellicose and sociopathic things he did...so I can't exactly empathize with him.

This was kind of a vapid story in the end.

@HOOfan_1 He caused her death six times. Even 'put it in her' the sixth.

Some kind of Stockholm Syndrome?

I was hoping to get a resolution to Arnold's war tendencies, or at least an explanation, but I guess there's more to the story. I liked the show, and I think it did a good job of resolving issues, but I'm not sure that some of the issues were all that important. I'll give it 7/10.

Wait, so because he saw fireworks he's not going to use black powder for war? Er, okay?

This show was mainly a time waster for me as it really didn't do anything special.

Arnold had little in the way of character development so this last part seems like too little too late.

Started very strong. Though it's fairly common a show can't maintain the pace and interest once its semi-unique premise is raised.

I give it some credit for not turning into a harem despite all these bishies.
