- Pokémon
- DBZ / DBGT
- Heidi
- A little bit of Saint Seiya
- And some others I can't remember right now.

I grew up watching more western cartoons than anime tbh.

i have very vague memories of seeing perhaps a single ep. of ROBOTECH when i was very young,
likely during it's original 1985/1986 syndicated television run. i couldn't have been more than four-to-five years old at the time.

Poetic, i suppose, that the seeds of MACROSS, and, by extension, Anime fandom in general, should be planted so early on...

Seeing as I was born in the 90s, I didn't really watch a lot of anime during that time because a lot of it would've just been imported to the west. I do remember watching a lot of Pokemon and Digimon maybe bits of the original Beyblade. May have seen Shin-Chan being advertised for Jetix at the time. Otherwise most of my anime watching would've been my teenage years.

During my first years of life : Ulysses 31 (but I barely can remember anything except vaguely Nono the robot because he was the equivalent of an imaginary friend to me), Alps no Shoujo Heidi, Princess Sara, Maya the Bee, Hamtaro, Tom Sawyer, Minky Momo, Monarch : The Big Bear of Tallac (but to me the little bear isn't Jackie, he is Bouba and he'll forever be) and Calimero, among others.

And later, when I was in elementary school : Ojamajo Doremi, Once Upon a Time Life (I had no idea it was an anime until a few minutes ago when I found it among recommendations for Maya the Bee), Lady Lady and Watashi no Annette, plus some of those mentionned above that I would still obsess over.

Those were good times... I actually want to rewatch all of them now.

when I was like very young my grandad would find these Studio Ghibli movies and we would watch them together, we both didn't really know what anime was it was just called a Japanese animation for him. Until I properly got into anime did I realize that these were animes I was watching.

- Howls Moving Castle
- Princess Mononoke
- Only Yesterday
- My Neighbour Totoro
- Arrietty
- Kiki's Delivery Service
- The Cat Returns
- Whisper of the Heart

Anything other than those movies was something I watched in the past couple of years but these shows made up part of my childhood.

I mostly remember watching many Pokemon series, Yugioh 5D's and GX, Bleach, Inuyasha, Code Geass, and the original Fullmetal Alchemist.

There's a few I vaguely remember which were Naruto, Trinity Blood, Blood+, Shin-Chan, Spirited Away, and Bakugan.
