| -rowen carries her back through the barrier through the front gate glaring at the guard who let her leave. taking her to the infirmary- |
| -After seeing something sparkle somewhere in the Forest, Lucia went in looking around trying to find something- "hmm it should be around here somewhere..." I looked around while walking. After a while, I felt something hard on my foot and saw a shiny stone laying on the fallen leaves. "What is this..?" I muttered to myself as I picked it up. It was a black stone that was very shiny. I turned it around and noticed a magic circle carved into it. "Wha--?!" As I shout in surprise, the stone glowed brightly, a magic circle I know all too well floated upwards, illuminating the whole forest. Seconds later, the stone vibrated and grew larger, forming it's shape into a black shiny golem. It was then I remembered something my father said before departing... "Oh... One more thing. I sent out a few things on the Academy to keep you from getting bored. You'll know what it is when you get one. Have fun now~" "THAT OLD GEEZER!!!" I shouted to the skies as the golem roared in response. --- "A golem has very strong slash resistance, but weak against piercing and blunt attacks. Which means..." I mumbled as I observe the opponent in front of me. I grabbed my sword on my back and ready into a battle stance as my other hand grabs a card in my pocket. The golem leaped towards me and attacked but I was easily able to dodge it by side-stepping. I pull out the card in my pocket and threw it in the air. "Transform my weapon to strike my opponent's weakness! Hammer!" I chanted as I point my sword towards the floating card. With a high pitched ping, the card glowed brightly as my magic circle surrounds it. The card dissipates into a blue wind, swirling on my sword and solidified into a large hammer that covered the blade. I swung it around a few times before going in to attack. "Haaaaaah!" with a cry, I aimed for the chest a full swing , breaking the golem's body and sent it flying deeper into the forest before hitting a large tree and cause a small quake in the ground. The golem laid on the ground motionless as I walk towards it. It seemed I was right that it's 'heart' would be in it's chest. The golem crumbled into pieces as the black stone was ejected from it. I picked up the stone and placed it in my pocket. "Geez, causing this much trouble before I even get admitted in the Academy!" I angrily said to no one in particular as I went back to the academy. |

| -Lucia runs into the forest, grabbing mushrooms, flowers, vines, and stones- This, that, that too... I quickly grabbed the materials the book told me. It was a basic recipe, most of the ingredients are already on the forest. As I look through the list, something caught my eye, an item I haven't seen before. It indicated that it's mostly found near a lake and guarded by a beast. It's an ingredient that makes the item hold multiple uses if combined. It seems like something I'd want to get but the beast guarding it worries me. For now I decided to find the lake and have a look. |
| I stopped to catch my breath under a tree. If I stayed there any longer it would have been a disaster. For now I know that what I need is over there. To get it requires a lot of power... I sat down for a while. |
| As you're catching breath you can hear strange growls not far from your location |
| I quickly became alert and stood up. I looked around while putting my hand on the sword handle. The forest area should have weaker enemies than in the lake. I told myself as I ready a guard stance. |
| You can hear growls closer to you coming from around you, you can't make out how many growlers there is |
| "One? Two? Four?" I try to guess how many there are as I draw my sword and grab a card in my pocket. |
| Suddenly the growls disappear and after a while you can hear a howl, 6 gnolls jumping from the bushes around you towards you |
| I drew my card and prepare myself for battle. "I guess it wasn't just an ordinary wolf..." I tossed the card in the air and hit with my sword. "Fire Bolt!" I chanted and a quick bolt of fire was shot from the card to the nearest gnoll. |
| The gnoll raises it's shield blocking most of the fire bolt, getting slight burns as the fire spreads from its shield Other gnolls run towards you flanking you |
| I stepped to the very center and quickly grabbed a card and threw it in the ground. "Knock them back! Shockwave!" I stabbed my sword to the card and the ground vibrated violently, pushing everything away from my location. |
| 4 gnolls jumps toward you trying to hit you with their axes at the same time as soon as you shout the command, other 2 gets pushed back and falling over due to shockwave |
| I parry one of the gnolls and attempt to dodge the rest. I successfully dodge the first, and my arm got scraped with the second, but the third struck me in the back, dealing damage and making me scream in pain. "Materialize my weapon to fight! Transform: Sword!" I grabbed the card as I chanted and transformed my sword into a magical blade and attacked aimed at a gnoll in the chest. (In the current fight, she has 15 premade cards that take up energy to use, mostly things she need in combat, like fast-casting attacks and defensive cards. Don't worry she doesn't have everything and I use a Random Generator for combat so I play fair :3) |
| The gnoll gets stabbed in the chest growling out of pain trying to grab you with its hand as it drops its axe The 2 tripped gnolls gets up and rushes towards her raising their axes ready to strike 3 gnolls next to her, strike her again |
| (Well as you see it, she only used like 3 cards so far. It's still too early to show fatigue... and also https://www.random.org/ is what I use. It seemed to work fine as seen with the melee sequence so I thought it would be fun to use) |
| I barely dodge the grab and finished the gnoll off by striking it heavily in the chest. I responded too late for the 2 gnolls and got hit in the leg and arm. I spun my sword once and rolled to the side, grazing the axes and avoiding them. |
