'I grew up playing Sonic games so seeing this app on the marketplace made me excited. I was first displeased with the level select layout but it QUICKLY began to grow on me. The visuals in the game look fantastic as it is pretty much a non-pixelated Sonic the Hedgehog game. The music is as fantastic as always, which is to be expected from a Sonic game (Even Sonic 2006 had a decent sound track). The gameplay on stages like Splash Hill zone feel great! The controls however can take a while to get used to, but once you master them, it feels great. A large problem I had when playing though was when you collect the Chaos Emeralds. Tilting my device to move Sonic was difficult and at times frustrating. If you fail in those levels, you must redo the stage to enter the realm again. In the long run though, it was worth it. In the middle of some worlds are cool levels that are different from the rest like being in a minecart or getting a certain score to win, which is a nice change of pace. The game isn't too hard until the final level. I failed over 30 times before I beat it. So beware of the difficulty spike. Overall, it's a great app. By the way, my best time on the first level is 51.21. Share your time if you can :D'
