That meant the girl was following Origin in his descent into madness. If Origin planned to use other people to get to her, then he was serious about killing her. Blood Dreamer nodded absentmindedly once more, getting her thoughts straight. "Well, actually, I have to talk with someone. Please, call Takasuke towards our tests room. I want to show him something. This is urgent, Lehm, so if you could race to him I would actually be grateful." She said in a serious, but friendly tone. Her voice was also not imperative, showing that she was not giving him and order, but just asking him to do something for her. She then turned her attention back towards the shooting practice, before she finished all the targets and got out. |

| Lehm nodded once in response to her request and said: "On it, ma'am," before he turned and jogged back towards the elevator and rode it down to the labs (I'm assuming that's where he is at least). It wasn't long before he caught sight of Takasuke. "Doc, our CEO'd like you to see her in the test rooms. She says it's urgent," he said. If it was an urgent request from the CEO, there was almost no way he could refuse. And, with basically nothing else left to do, he escorted/followed Takasuke simply because he could. |

| "That so?" Takasuke inquired as he turned away from his work. "Well then, let's see what she needs." He said as he started walking towards the elevator, pressing a button that would lead to the test rooms after Lehm and he entered it. "So what happened with our guest?" |

| "Our guest left peacefully, though she seems to know more than she should," Lehm replied as he leaned against the elevator's interior. "She also seems to be hanging around a crowd that's bound to stir up trouble. I got a bad feeling about this whole thing..." |

| Holding the Black Energy Scythe on her hand and testing it's capabilities, Blood Dreamer was outholding a perfect black orb in front of her that seemed to be made of Dark Energy. When Takasuke got in, she quickly lost her concentration and the black orb dissipated into the air like smoke. She let out a quiet 'tch' as the orb disappeared in front of her. Before she turned herself towards Masaru, she let out a sigh. "Indeed I wanted but, more than see you, what I really wanted was to talk with you and show you something." She said as she walked slightly closer, since she was on the center of the room and they were on the entrance. "Remember when I told you that only few Numbers had control over Dark Energy?" She asked, to receive a light nod from Takasuke. "Well, since only a few can control it, it's just normal that even a fewer number of people are able to master it. I... Am one of the only two numbers that were able to hold mastery of it. Others either died or chose to forget about it." She told him, still holding a slight secretive tone about it. She was staying in here for more than she had to. Akira would have to come back eventually but that would just have to wait. "The reason why people to forget about this is... Because it is a betrayal form. Dark Energy has the same ability as Aegis. It cancels psychic skills and slows down brain processes. Basically, in order to control it, you have give up of your psychic abillities." She told him truthfully. She had intentions to tell him this, sooner or later, but she decided that later would be better. That was, before Origin appeared. |

| "I see..." Takasuke responded, pondering the new information. "That is interesting. But may I ask why exactly you're telling a 'pervert' like myself this?" He inquired calmly as he pushed up his glasses. "Exactly how many other numbers with Dark Energy are there? So far, I've only seen Scarecrow, and now you to an extent it seems."He further questioned. "Unless the other numbers have access to this, I don't really understand quite why this was so urgent. Or were you considering sacrificing your psychic abilities?" |

I made my promise to Masaru that I would not hurt you, and if Origin is going to hurt you because of me, I am indirectly hurting you, right?" She said, trying to explain her reasons but, in her mind, failing. She shooked her head lightly befre going on. "A-Anyway, like I said before, not everyone has access to the remains of a meterorite that fell on the sea of Mars, right?" She joked with a straight face, reffering to where the Dark Energy came from. "Well, as far as I know, Scarecrow was the only one. The last tiem our people found Dark Energy, it was only hours after we were created." She told them calmly before she looked directly at him. Her eyes were more like a glare this time, piercingly cold. "Like I said... I mastered it. Those who mastered it where either able to control it without having to sacrifice their psychic abillities, or were just born with the skill of controlling it. I was the first and only one that was born with it. The skills to control something that can kill your own people. That's how I became feared by them." She told them calmly. However, this was going somewhere she did not wanted. She quickly tried to changed the subject as she raised her scythe and, once more, created the perfect black orb in front of her. "I want you to study it. Even though I can control it and I have mastered it, I have very few knowloadge on it. Maybe you can tell me more about it." She told him with slight curiosity, but her eyes unchanged. |

| "If you were using us as shields. Then yes, you would be. If we willingly get in Origin's way to protect you however, it's on us." Takasuke told with a light sigh, being able to tell that even she herself wasn't sure of that reason. "So you're the only one huh? Well, that gives us an advantage. That means those psychic won't work well against our main assets, mainly being you, the Rank 0, as well as the HellDivers. It looks to me that Origin has very little chance at winning." He mused. "But why exactly is Origin trying to attack you. Your main target was the Overmind, not the numbers, correct? If so, with the Overmind dead, it makes no sense of why any number would attack you. Even if you're a threat to them, you aren't really going out of your way to target them." |

| Blood Dreamer sighed as she remembered such a annoyance. She looked away from Takasuke. "He's seeking revenge. I killed him a long time ago because he is huge threat for the first ten numbers. However, now I don't care anymore. He is no longer a threat for me and I already killed the Overmind, so now the numbers are on their own." She told him truthfully. Her objective was complete. With the Overmind dead, the numbers would no longer be enslaved by it and neither would they be forced to commit to him. Obviously, wars would appear. Let the leash down, and the dogs always bite each other. "Also, the numbers are quite fearful of me. They think I am going to hunt all of them if they are a threat, mainly the high-numbers." She further explained. |

| "Revenge is such a foolish choice. Even if he were the more powerful one, revenge usually backfires. He's even more at a disadvantage because of his cause." Takasuke mused. "They must be quite afraid as they are overlooking obvious logic. If you wanted the number's deaths, you wouldn't have stopped at the Overmind. You would have ignored the Rank 0 and went on a killing spree. Since you didn't it's obvious you have little interest." |

They might be thinking that I'm planning something big and, because of that, that I am hiding at NEOH, getting time." She told him, explaining their point of view of the situation. "I don't care if he comes for me or why, he's going to die anyway. Besides, he's no big threat for me. He is a bigger threat to Akira. That is why I'm telling you to protect her. If everything fails, I want you to kill Akira before he gets to her." She said, making a fierce but understandable request. Who knew what Origin was going to do when he reached Blood Dreamer. |

The numbers are probably against charging blindly at you while you're protected by NEOH HellDivers and the Rank 0. That means if he wants allies, his main source would more than likely be non-numbers, which can probably be taken care of by regular personnel... Unless they're like that woman you encountered earlier." He said while pinching the bridge of his nose, remembering the woman. |

They'll stop at nothing until they kill me." She told Takasuke calmly as she sensed someone hearing their conversation. "We might want to continue this conversation when I come back again. This means it'll be later. Until then, I'll leave Akira in control. Also, keep in mind what I told you." She said with a grim look on her face. " If they get to reach Akira and I am not on command, kill her. It is a needed sacrife. I don't want Akira to suffer on their hands." She told him calmly since she was expecting for them to kill Akira when they saw her inside the base. If they ever got to reach her, that is. |

Oh yeah, Katsu. Have you checked his file? According to Akira, he is capable of becoming a HellDiver. Would be good to lock him in a room without nothing first though, just to test him." She said with a straight face and a serious tone that made it almost impossible to know if she was just joking or saying it seriously. |

| When Blood Dreamer talked about killing Akira, Lehm's face turned serious. "As long as I still live and breathe, they won't lay a filthy hand on her," he said. When they talked about Katsu, he spoke again, this time with a slight smile. "If that kid's fit to be a Helldriver, I'll be glad to show him the ropes." |

| "Yes, Katsu." Takasuke said with a nod. "I did. His physical body isn't much to worry about, it's already decently above average. However, his will is what I'm worried about." He said before sighing. "You know... It's somewhat scary since even I find it difficult to determine whether you're being serious or just joking..." He said with a slight deadpanned expression. "Though, whether or not she is being serious. It would be best for an experienced HellDiver to walk him through the basics if he does make it through. So it would have to be you or Suzutsuki. And then I would have to design another suit for him." He mused with a nod. |

I know very well you have power inside you, but I don't know why I should help you with it. Actually, I don't know what to do. If I do help you, you will know how to control this power, and this will be a problem. However, if I don't help you understand it, you won't know how to control it, which will a problem of the same magnitude." She told him seriously, not even flinching as she told him so. In the current state she was, she was becoming weak. She had to rest so she wouldn't be able to help Jake out much. |

"He needs something that'll test his willpower so, we could go with our CEO's suggestion and leave him in a sensory deprivation room for a few hours and see how that goes; it'll be a lot faster and less painful than letting me have a go at him the old-fashioned way." |

| "Well, my concern was that it would take too long still. If he can become a HellDiver, we need him to become one as fast as possible in this situation. The CEO's suggestion involves doing it how the other HellDivers were, and some were left in there for months... We don't have time for something like that and leaving in there for a couple hours would just feel like a long time out." Takasuke said as he pushed his glasses up. "Another concern for teaching him would be that he would obviously use his abilities to sexually harass women..." He commented about Jake as he thought about Katsu. "I think we'd have to do that and leave him in there for a few days... And if something happens or looks like it'll happen we'll have to take him out and do it early." |

Though they'd better do a better fucking job than what they did with watching the security cameras otherwise I'll be hanging someone's ass on a wall as a trophy... |

"But, we need to him through the process in the fastest way possible. The best way to do that I think is shorten the time in the space for a few days rather than months." |

I'll explain there. Over," he said, and without so much as waiting for a reply, Lehm rode the elevator down to the labs to wait for Katsu. |

| "We've decided to give you a test that will test to see if you're really able to be a HellDriver," Lehm replied to Katsu. "You're good physically but this will test your willpower. You'll be put into a sensory deprivation room for an extended amount of time and won't be allowed to come out until we say so. For short amounts of time, these types of rooms can be like a sort of meditation but, when normal people are in one of those rooms for a few hours, they can experience anxiety, hallucinations, and depression. For this test, you'll be in one of those rooms for at least a few days with no food, water, or outside contact. If you come out of there sane, you pass and you'll be on your way to become a HellDriver. "So, now that you know all this, do you still want to go through with this? Do you think you have what it takes to be a HellDriver?" Lehm asked with the amount of seriousness that one would normally associate with a life-or-death situation. |
