He tried to keep acting tough and strong, but the reality was Hoshi wasn't even close to 100%. Based on what Kain said, if he wanted to beat Weiss, he needed to be full strength. He hoped Kain of Suzaku had worn down Weiss eonugh to give him a chance. |

| As Weiss disappears and Nanami calls out to him, Hoshi refocuses and makes a few hand symbols. Hoshi: "Water Release: Syrup Capture Field." Spraying a sticky liquid from his mouth, Hoshi tries to cover as much of the ground around as he can. |

The dark black dome beginning to form around them. Hoshi: I've already faced 2 of them, so I need to get this done quickly before I exhaust myself. |

| Hoshi tries to jump out of the way behind a tree, but the needles shoot all up his right side. He looks out from behind the tree, keeping weight off of his right leg as best he can, and his right side covered in needles and blood. Hoshi: "Interesting jutsu you have there. I'll know next time not to stand so close to you." That was too close for comfort. A few more of those attacks hit me, or one gets me dead on, and I am a goner! |
