You could let people force the tied votes and the blame would've been on them. You tried to help and you cause yourself trouble. I wanted to vote as well but because of the huge activity I knew it would be risky so I waited. I think it is your own fault. If that will be make you happy though, I find logic equally guilty as you. He couldn't have noticed your previous vote as he voted very quickly after it.
