| "I think they're one of the nicest flowers. Very fun to draw too. So are sunflowers." |
| "Awesome." Josef said, smiling. |
| He went back to drawing. |
| "Huh, that was quick." |
| "I see, well that makes sense." He looked down at his drawing and back to Gwen. "You know, your eyes are so beautiful, but they're so hard to draw." |
| "Heh, but I won't give up until they're perfect." |
| Josef looked at Gwen and smiled. |
| "Oh? What have you got?" |
| "Wow, that's really cool." Said Josef. "I see we've both started to draw each other now." |
| "Well of course." [What would be interesting now is for her to have done a drawing of Lucas. XD] |
| [That would be such a good drawing; just him sitting hunched over his sketchbook with a sullen look on his face. ^w^] "It's really good." Josef said. |
| "Unfortunately I'm not as fast as you. Your drawing may take a while." [I should actually try that...] |
| "Hehe, well I'll go as fast as I can without wrecking it." [And kinda hard...] |
| [I generally just stick to drawing faces. Other stuff is hard. XD] "Masterpiece...we'll see." |
| "I'm glad you think so." |
| Josef stared absently out the window. As he did, he noticed someone he hadn't thought he would see. He saw Amber walking in the street outside along with..."Lucas?" He said aloud. |
| "What is he doing with her?" Josef wondered. Outside Lucas and Amber were talking and Lucas, Josef noted with surprise, was smiling. |
| Lucas' expression darkened slightly as Amber said something to him and then she turned to leave. Lucas grabbed her arm and as she looked back, he kissed her on the mouth. She seemed surprised but she smiled and then left, waving. "That makes no sense at all." Said Josef. |
| "The other day he seemed as if he couldn't stand her." Said Josef. "Why on earth would he be hanging around with her?" |
| "I agree." Said Josef. "She sounded like she wanted him to come back..." |
| "I just hope he doesn't think of going anywhere anytime soon." |
| Seeming not to have noticed Josef or Gwen, Lucas kept walking, his expression back to its usual sullenness. |
| "Huh, I bet you anything the stuff he didn't want us seeing in his sketchbook was probably a shitload of drawings of Amber..." |
| "What's so great about her anyway?" Said Josef. "She pissed me off when she was talking to Lucas before." |
| "Wait! Gwen!" Josef exclaimed, getting up and running out after her. He found her leaning against the wall. "There you are." |
