| I just made a comment implying that the MAL issues seem to be getting better again but ironically, that comment didn't seem to have popped up even after multiple refreshes. It is indeed getting quite annoying. |

| I knew that the Funimation's streaming service shutdown was right around the corner as soon as the One Piece dub arrived last July since that was pretty much the only reason to remain subscribed back at the time. But there were two more major pieces left to be dealt with as there was the Samsung App, which Funimation has had for years and Crunchyroll only just released it this week, and the watch history integration. Those two things just happened, and with that the shutdown can finally happen. The last episodes to be added to the service are the rest of this season's episodes of Tomozaki-kun and Classroom of the Elite as they have continued to add episodes there for sequels. |

| @Jozuwa-_- I've never had SPAM myself, but my sister seems to like it. She even has a SPAM cookbook. She also uses the little cans that SPAM comes in as pots for her succulents. Is it good? I feel like I should try it sometime. |

| @boldulysses I had no idea about the Lovely Complex dub, so I went to do more research about it and found your thread from 2020! Anyway, while I don't own the blu-ray to check this myself, I think the dub might still be okay to watch. From what I can gather, some scummy contractor worked on a show they hated, but they weren't the only one working on it. Here's the dubbing studio's comment on the matter (Source) We have been made aware of the unofficial and unsanctioned statements made by a contractor in regards to our Lovely Complex dub project, and wanted to address the post in question. Firstly, no contractor speaks for the Sound Cadence Studios team. All contractors are assembled and retained on a per-project basis. Secondly, regardless of any one contractor's personal feelings about a project, all productions created at Sound Cadence Studios go through many layers of supervision. In this case, while this individual did help create scripts for Lovely Complex, those scripts then went through a head writer, two supervisors, the end client at Discotek, as well as the Japanese licensor, and those scripts were then vetted and approved by all of those parties before being recorded. In no situation would we allow a product that didn't honor the original work to come to market. We thank the fans who have already supported the release and are delighted by the positive reviews by those who have seen the English language version. |

The only thing that might encourage me to continue is that although there's the production company's apology and documentation the script writers hated the characters/show, I haven't seen any examples of actual mistranslations intended to sanitize/alter objectionable content. Maybe I'll just stick with the sub until the dust settles a bit here. |

| I was going to make a new comment, but I think I'll just write over this one. I finally decided to give the 'ol cr store a try, and I've never had a stranger experience shopping online as I do right now. I get an email saying that payment didn't go through, so I decide to wait a few days to try again. Ah— but then! Today I get an email saying that one of my items has shipped! So I check with the orders page on the cr store and look likes that three of my items have shipped. I didn't touch it! Why'd it ship? And why does the shipping email and orders page on cr say have conflicting data on what has shipped? |

| Finished Servant x Service today, a show that I found out about via @Astral_Iguana rec on the recommendations thread. I really, really enjoyed it; my only real complaint is that it was too short. The comparisons to Working!! are obvious, but that show had 3 seasons AND a film so it could take its time. Lucy was cute as a button, but Chihaya totally stole the show. I love Erica Mendez in most of her roles, but I don't know that she sounds...mature enough for Mai? I think Brina Palencia would've been a better choice. Sakuta's English VA's voice is higher-pitched than his Japanese counterpart, which is a little strange, but he sounds kind and responsible like he should. Gonna keep an open mind here. |

| Excuse me as I fanboy over my favorite NBA team... THE NUGGETS WIN AGAIN!!! 2-0 against the Lakers now! Not exactly a good game with Denver only making 8 out of their 34 3-point attempts, and a pretty bad night for the PGs. But thanks to a clutch-filled last few minutes of the game, they took the W! There's still a chance of them sweeping the Lakers out of the playoffs for a 2nd time. Here's hoping xP |

I remember you last time saying that Saito was becoming more of a "Horn Dog" and, I wanted to double down but was avoiding spoiling it xD I used to watch and love that series too but stopped because the horny got too much for my liking. | Nuggets didn't get to sweep the Lakers, but I'm not even bummed about that. What I didn't like was Denver seemingly not being in a rush to close out the series. I would really REALLY hope that this wasn't a business decision to capitalize on more home-court ticket sales, since it's back to Denver for the next 2 games. Murray had a bad game again. Really hope he starts learning to switch gears and play PG, assisting and setting plays instead when he's having an off shooting. |

They definitely crank up the harem shenanigans for the 2nd and 3rd seasons, but there are some genuinely sweet moments. Will probably start a discussion thread once I finish everything. |

| Nuggets vs Lakers is on right now- currently on Haltime though. Would be pretty tough for Denver to clear out the Lakers now seeing as they have 2 Point Guards playing with injuries and, if that wasn't damaging enough, KCP also got injured and has gone back to the locker. But I really hope they can advance now since the T-wolves already swept the Suns and getting some rest and preparations. Would be a great disadvantage for Denver to play them immediately, especially with active players hindered by injuries. |
